Troubled Times.

[Yasuo Takahashi]

Andrew stumbled into his room, collapsing on the bed. He felt weak and helpless. He lay in his bed, crying quietly. He picked up the picture of Sophie and himself holding it close to his chest. He missed her so much, more than he could handle. He wished she could forgive him, but he didn't blame her for staying angry. He felt like the lowest of the low. How could he have done that to her?

[Sakari]

((I'm going to do a time skip for a few months so that she is nine months and she is nearly ready to give birth))


5 months later and Sophie was waddling around her new flat. Her mother and father had bought it for her and the baby. She walked into the baby's room, there was a cot, a pram and a whole wardrobe of clothes and toys. Andrew had sent her money but she had always sent it back. She had still not forgivin him for what he had done. Her hand rubbed her bump gently as she sat on the couch watching tv. "Not long now..." She whispered to her bump.

Andrew sat in his room holding the picture close to his body. Five months had passed, and he still hadn't won Sophie back. His appearance grew worse with each passing day. His sickness never passed, and he still threw up from time to time. He looked miserable, and felt twice as bad. He wished he could have Sophie back, and hold their baby when it was born. He knew their child would be born soon, and that he would not be a part of it. He felt himself dying inside, he wanted to be with Sophie when their baby was born. He ruined his life, he shouldn't have gone to the party. He should've stayed with Sophie and kept her and the baby company. His misery grew with each passing moment. He could feel the need to puke slowly creep up his throat.

Sophie stood up, she felt a sudden urge to pee but instead water came trickling down. She clutched her stomach as she felt waves of pain rip through her. She panicked, what was she going to do. She grabbed her phone and rang the only one person she could think of.

A few hours later and Sophie lay in the hospital bed, in her arms a beautiful baby boy. She couldn't get enough of the love she felt for him, but he looked so much like Andrew. Sophie's mother walked into the hallway. She tried to ring Andrew but he would not answer so she left a message. "It's Sophie's mum, i just wanted to let you know that she has had the baby." She then hung up and put the phone back in her pocket.

Andrew heard his phone ring, but he ignored it. He sat in the corner of his room holding the picture tightly. He picked up his phone, and listened to the message. The baby was born, and he wasn't even there. He missed the birth of his child. He felt like he had abandoned all hope. There was nothing left for him to do, except try and move on. He didn't feel that he could do that. He hled the picture tightly, wishing he was there to hold his beautiful child. He wasn't even sure if it was a boy or girl.

[Sakari]

Sophie cuddled her baby, she hadn't even named him yet. She took the phone of her mum and rang Andrew. Once again he didn't answer. "Hi Andrew, it's Sophie! I just wanted to see if you wanted to come to see your son." After leaving the message she put the phone down. She handed the baby to her mum so she could sleep for a while. She snuggled under the covers and slept why her mum sat on the couch cradling the little boy.

Andrew listened to the message and felt tears come to his eyes. He missed the birth of his son, he felt miserable and looked it as well. He put on some clean clothes, but didn't bother to fix himself up. He walked to the hospital, same the wreck as he ever was. He asked the receptionist what room, and slowly made his way to Sophie's room. He wasn't sure if he should even go or not. Sophie didn't want to have him in the relationship, she always sent back the money, but Andrew always saved it for their child. He walked slowly into the room, but saw Sophie was asleep. He felt like he should just leave.

Sophie turned over and opened her eyes and saw Andrew. She smiled. She sat up and her mother handed her the baby. Sophie asked if she could talk to Andrew privitely, her mum nodded and left the room. Sophie cradled the baby to her chest, stroaking it's little face ever so gently. She couldn't blame Andrew for not coming to the birth as no one had told him.

Even as Sophie's mother let, Andrew still felt out of place. It was his family-his son and what he wished to call his girlfriend, but he still felt out of place. He sat down and felt the urge to cry, but fought it off as best as he could. He still looked like a total mess, he wished he had cleaned himself up a bit. "Sophie...I'm sorry." He felt he should apologize before anything. He hadn't forgiven himself for what he had done, and he didn't expect Sophie to have gotten over it. "Have you named him yet?"

Sophie shook her head. "I didn't think it was fair for you not to have a say on the name." She whispered, passing the baby carefully into Andrew's outstretched arms. As she leaned back she smiled, now she could see the same resumbelance. They had the same skin tone, same hair colour, same facial features but he had Sophie's pale blue eyes.
