meh, I go by the rule that If someone attacks me no matter who it is, they die. if someone insults me, they end up crying. and also for my friends, I used to get bullied, I stood up to them and now they're all afraid of me. i've never been suspended or anything for fighting because i've always explained thoroughly the reasons I did it.

It doesn't always happen like this though, I realise. sometimes they need a lesson in humility.

Not saying that everyone is like that. But when it comes down to it, people tend to take pity on the female, not the male. Heck, it's for a reason that you hardly ever hear of domestic abuse by a female. I can imagine the 'man up already' argument being used there...

But of course I was KID once, the girls was messing with my head and made me pissed, I threw sand and stone at them, threw a basketball into one of their freakin heads. Guess what, after a little talk with the teacher I had won... Well I got shit from the teacher but those evil bitches didn't mess with me after that. (happy me).

Okaay. Say I was being bullied for a year by the Queen Bee of my year group: She's fake, got three slut friends who also don't like me, has gotten with 80% of the yeargroup and spent the majority of her time in school giving me dirty looks and generally being a hinderance in my life.
She then begins to cyber bully my best friend, calling her names and stuff. I hear her bitching about her in registration and call after her, tell her if she's got something to say then she sould say it to my friend's face.
She then says: "Come on then. Come on then." My best friend who is watching this pushes her away and tells her to leave me alone. They get into a bit of a scuffle and the Popular girl goes to punch my best friend. I don't even stop to think. I hit her.
We get into a fight and I win.
Police called in. I get excluded from school for 5 days, I get three after school detentions and 5 lunchtime detentions.
She got nothing. Didn't even get told off.
Is that fair? :/

I may be unchivalrous as hell, but that bitch deserved what she got. I don't have a right and wrong sensor in my brain, or, they don't play as much as a role with me. Mostly it's what I want, versus, what is acceptable. In this case, what I want would win.

In the eyes of the disciplinary system: What you got was indeed fair, but the girl had deliberately threatened your friend to their face and attempted to swing at them. That bitch should be getting suspended as well.

Socially: No. Not fucking fair at all. That so called "Popular Girl" has probably been bagged by so many guys just by the way she acts, so I will assume she is a slut. It's usually the case 90% of the time. You friend deserves some free shots on that girl.

In my mind it is completely unfair. Even if she hadn't started a fight in the later parts of the story, you should have still done something interesting and pushed her in front of a bus or something. Problem is, that then you might dent the bus and you'll probably have to pay for the repairs. Next time you see this person, completely flip out, and then do what every criminal does to avoid prison. Plead not guilty on the count of insanity. I can make that work rather well.
