That one, uses on physical attacks for the most part. xD

And, I'd say, they'd be in one of the established tiers, just with the moniker Low-Mid-High attached to it as well. Like a Low-Level 1, Mid-Level 5, High-Level 10, or a High-Level 1.

Usually places that I used to rp around had, very bad rules for arena matches. Which is why I labled myself as atier ten right of the bat, with all the 'godmod/overpowered' accusations. But after actually reading a few threads around RPG, I realize that I'm not.. that terrible.

The biggest thing, LOGIC. Without at least a hint of logic, everything about Roleplaying is ruined. IMO anyways. Any characters that can bend the laws of physics, twist reality, etc: are completely uneccassary.

I like all tiers of fighting but I am not adverse to fighting high-tier since most of the people I tend to fight are in the high-tier category. But realistic melee and mid-tier are exciting and fun because that is where most fighters settle in. It also is more of a chess match than a slug fest with powers.

That's exactly what puts me off, all those people who just throw giant onslaughts of huge attacks at you, without much strategy to their moves.

For the most part that is true, but there are some very good fighters who can write high-tier fights with a deft hand that don't rely on powers alone. Using as you stated, logic, because even when dealing with such characters, a logical consistency agreed upon by both parties can make the fights an enjoyable event.

I tend to avoid anyone who claims high-tier fighting because for the most part they are not as skilled enough to pull it off as they think which is why I tend to duel those high tier fighters I know by reputation and who I have fought before.

I think that tends to be the pitfall for most high-tier battles (Levels 7 or 8 up through 10, as I've seen). Most high-tier power battles I've seen have involved characters that originate from a wide range of Universes, and albeit such battles taking place within an Omniversal context, there never seems to be a moment when peoples' powers aren't simply at odds with one another. It all comes down to those little mechanical things linked to where in the real or fictional planes a character comes from.

By the time a character reaches the neighborhood of a level 7 or level 8, they can pretty much be justified as being direct stems to whatever plane of existence they hail from. And then put a bunch of like beings together in a single battle, you've pretty much got no way to effectively "unite" everything under a single mechanical umbrella, unless there is some finite "base" upon which everything can work.

Normally when I see High-Tier fights, it involves Reality-Warping, or energy that eats all thing(Physical/Metaphysical), and little logic other than, 'My character can do it.'

Speaking of which, Bannruod is in a high level conflict against a lvl 9 psion. It looks like it is going to be an interesting fight. It started as a two v two now it is appears two v one. And the psion is the single, a good writer and fighter, should they manage to win, it might turn the tide in the ongoing war.
