Walkabout: African Adventure Int Check

This will either be casual or advanced. Whichever generates more interest will be the one I use.

Looking for any players who would be interested in an African adventure role-play. Characters would be tourists, save for two guides (one of whom would be played by me). This would be a story of hardship and survival. Emotions and adrenaline will run high as our heroes are pitted against not just the dangers the wild bush of South Africa has to offer, but also the most dangerous element of all: Man.

While this would be a collaborative storytelling effort, some amount of leadership would be retained by me in order to keep things moving. That means that I choose when the lions leap out to eat player X, and when player Y gets bitten by a snake. However I don't presume to have the right to outright kill your characters.

Players who choose to be more mundane characters (like people who, for once, play a fat guy from the midwest) will have my lasting respect.

Anybody interested in adventures that can happen in our modern world?
