An old asylum building, which is now under use for experiments with new medical stimulants. The stimulant has never been tested, but the doctors claim that the mix won't have any side effects. It will be a most promising experiment for the medical technology. But are there really no side-effects...?

Side-Effects: Uncontrollable changes of color and shifts colors based on situation and mood.
Bio: Ethan has a pretty bad gambling problem. This led Ethan into the gutter, he owes money to the mob and he needs a way to escape his past. He has been trying to hide from them, but they are still able to find him. While living in a run down apartment in Chinatown he received a letter from the treatment center. He thought it was the perfect opportunity to have a hiding place from the Italians, little does he know the true horrors that awaited him once he got in.

Gender: Male
Stimulant-Effect: Lowered/No sensetivity to pain
Side-Effects: Since it isn't really "activated", there is no appearant consequence of it's use. But there are various side-effects, such as the carelessness towards own wellness (there is no especially fast healing involved) and on long term, his neorologic responses will slow down...
Bio: Michael is a very normal person. He enjoys reading, fighting sports and camping. He has a girlfriend with whom he'd now been going out for 2 years. He joined up for the test in the hope to get some quick money as his girlfriend had been nagging him she wanted a bigger place.

Name: Baxter

Age: 36

Gender: Male

Stimulant-Effect: Fading from reality, Baxter can clone duplicates of himself as well as stimulate others minds with whatever he desires. (think Jedi mind trick from starwars or Desire Demons in Dragon age) His thrid power is the Aura of sleep which is more a drawback than a power but it can benefit him despite being passive. (more below)

Side-Effects: Just as he fools others with his confusing abilities, baxter himself forgets more and more of himself, the more he uses his powers the greater the tax on his moral conscience and essential human qualities. Physically, the powers trigger a cold sweat of exhaustion, as well as Aura of Sleep/Drowsiness that radiates around him, triggering sleep in himself and those withing a 70 foot radius. Who wakes up when is purely random, sometimes Baxter simply naps for 10 minutes, other times he doesn't wake up for months.

Bio: The patient Data Logs of "Baxter" show very little of his past, Stating only that he has grown consistently more anti-social as the years have passed. He has grown up in the asylum since he was a young child and all memory of the exterior has faded from him. He is not so much a volunteer, as a forced patient of the procedure.

Appearance: 6'2 119 lbs. (Tall and Emaciated)
Baxter's attire consists of a restraint dark brown jacket with metal rings to attach him to walls and floors. His arms are free however. His pants also host the metal rings and are skin tight to insure he cannot hide any objects from the guard. On his head, he wears a steel facial masque, and the rest of his head is covered, wrapped in filthy bandages that once were white. On his hands are black fingerless weighted gloves to insure he cannot make sudden movements, though in secret he has mastered the weight and only acts sluggish to appease the guards. Same goes for his boots, obsidian and weighted, he drags his feet while walking to act as if the boots are still oppressive to his movement.

Name: Olivia Botani

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Stimulant-Effect: Freezing powers. Without trying, Olivia can produce a thin layer of ice over the surfaces she touches. When she concentrates, she can freeze a solid object all the way through and even freeze things with her breath.

Side-Effects: Using her powers at all causes her to become cold and start shaking. If she uses her powers too much, either her muscles shiver beyond control to the point of a seizure, or the blood vessels in her head swell (also known as a brain freeze) causing her to pass out.

Bio: Olivia volunteered for the tests to pay for her expensive college tuition. She is studying to be a writer but her parents refuse to help pay for a "wasted education". After months of trying to find a job, she read about this opportunity in the newspaper and figured she had nothing to lose.

Appearance: 5'4", lean, average white skin tone, hazel almond eyes. Olivia stands at 5'4", has a petite figure, and an average white skin tone. She has hazel-colored almond shaped eyes, a button nose, and a light sprinkle of freckles across her nose and cheeks. Her sandy blonde hair is straight and brushes just past her shoulders. She wears light-blue skinny jeans, a long sleeve white shirt, and dog tags underneath.

Name: Roy Evans

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Stimulant-Effect: Roy has the power over the forces of nature. Be it motion, elements, physics, waves, or weather, he can control it. However, as he uses this power, an equal and opposite force is always there...

Side-Effects: Whenever he uses his power, reality always seems to find a way to get back at him for it. The consequence often happens immediately after he uses his power, but he has found that he can put off the effects if he really needs to. This usually isn't a good idea, because the consequences will build up and hit him harder if he does this. The consequences happen in relativity to how he used his power. For example, if he used his power to ignite someone's shirt, he may find that he expels a continuous wave of uncomfortable heat for a few hours to everyone within a few yards.

Bio: Roy has always been a sort of a loner. Staying off in a corner by himself, listening to music. He doesn't much like normal people, which is why he was so quick to sign up for the testing. Not so much for the money, but for the power. He wanted to distinguish himself from others, and have a reason to stay away. He has a way to defend himself and now most people leave him alone because they see him as a freak. That's fine. He's not a jerk, though, and he doesn't mind having friends. He just prefers not to have to deal with the everyday idiots that litter the streets of the world.

Appearance: Stands at 5'11" and weighs 135 lbs. He's quite pale, and his shaggy black hair paired with his black eyes contrast with his skin quite well. He usually wears a dark t-shirt and baggy jeans held up by a brown belt. He looks very feminine, and has been mistaken for a girl a few times. He's been told he's pretty, and he would agree to it, but he may not be to everyone's taste. He is always wearing his headphones, but he can still hear everything around him perfectly fine thanks to the headphones' feature of playing back everything that he would normally hear along with his music.

Age: 18
Gender: Female

Stimulant-Effect: The stimulant has random effects. It depends on Claire's emotions, as well as the situation she is currently in.

Side-Effects: The powers are uncontrollable. She can blast someone through the air with telekenesis, eventhough she did not wanted to.

Bio: Claire is one of the "permanent" test subjects. She is the daughter of the "AdMed Corp." manager in the City, the medical corporation who is working on the body stimulants. She agreed to the tests first, but now she is just a puppet for her father's doings. She tends to sit in the meal hall in some corner, covering herself with a book she keeps reading on and on.

Appearance: She looks like the average emo girl. Black hair which reaches to her shoulder. Dark-green eyes, with the usual make-up. She is not very tall, about 5'0". She wears a black set of "normal" asylum clothes; a straight jacket without the long sleeves. One of the only freedoms she got from her father.

Name: Mark Gissal
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Stimulant-Effect: Mutation, although the effects have yet to be seen.
Side-Effects: He is slowly mutating
Bio: Sebastien was a stay at home dad in a failing relationship. He and his wife often got into fights, mostly because Mark wanted to earn some own money because his wife could not support both of them, and their child. As their relationship was on the verge of collapse, Mark left the house for a week, and then signed up for the program, hoping to earn some extra money while helping his body. As he will soon realize, the stimulant has unexpected effects.
Appearance: Sebastien is 5'11'', with the solid, muscular build of a body builder. His hair is cut into a buzz-cut, and his face is framed by sharp, angular chin bones. He has deep drown eyes, which are set back slightly into his skull. Lately, his body is beginning to change, although the effects of the stimulant are yet to be seen, except he has lost control of the fingers n his left arm.
