Here's a character sheet. Please tell me if anything's wrong!

Name: Lucy Dimond

Age: (between 17 and 21) 17

Element: Energy

Gender: Female

Appearance: Lucy used to be extremely beautiful, with her gleaming, sunshine colored hair that she usually had to force down with numerous hair products and accessories, luminous brown eyes framed by dark, long eyelashes, full lips, and mile-long legs. Now she covers the grotesque burn scars, which are a source of embarrassment and shame for Lucy, on her body with long clothing. She is reluctant to change in front of anyone or take off a piece of clothing, and wouldn’t even consider showing them to anyone. Most of her face was spared, with the exception of a long burn scar starting at her neck and ending at the corner of her right eye.

History: Most of Lucy’s life was lived in luxury, at least in the perspective of the other people that lived around her. Her mother was the local healer and her father ran the town’s bakery and slaughterhouse , making enough money to put food on the table for Lucy and her two brothers and a few other luxuries. This was enough to put her family into the upper class of the town hierarchy and letting Lucy become close to the mayor’s youngest son, who was close to her age.

However, her family’s reputation was ruined on the day of the town’s annual harvest festival, when food was shared and marriages arranged. Lucy and the mayor’s son decided to stay at her house, mainly to avoid hearing the name that they were going to be tied to for the rest of their lives. One thing lead to another and Lucy came into contact with an electrical outlet. She’d touched outlets and other things before, only to be surprised by small, but harmless sparks. This time was different as the spark connected with the closest curtain, quickly turning the townhouse into a raging inferno. Lucy somehow dragged herself out, scarred both physically and mentally by the flames and the boy she’d left behind to die. When the fire was finally put out and the officials from the government arrived with grim, infuriated faces, Lucy had escaped and was nowhere to be found. She traveled to the nearest large city and began to make a life for herself by breaking into a crappy, foreclosure apartment and starting a job at a supermarket under a fake name.

Items held: A pocket knife, a wallet containing her latest paycheck of about $93 and fake ID, a silver ring on twine string that she refuses to take off or sell, and earplugs.

Skills or talents: Lucy spent most of her life spent behind documents from school and around the mayor’s house, absorbing any type of information she could get her hands on. Lucy is very knowledgeable and clever, most of the information she knows has helped her survive. She is also athletic and was one of the best runners at her old school.
Lucy has found she can somehow manipulate nuclear energy to create burst of nuclear fusion, similar to the sun, but a lot less stronger. Lucy can somewhat control the bursts and the amount of energy released, but is at the mercy of a fold; whatever amount of damage she inflicts, she receives half of it.

Uh... anyone still alive here other than Kassa? I mean i dunno if i'v started it awkwardly but if so, you could just play through the day the chars had until it ends the post in the present...

I'm, uh, alive... just incredibly busy, and probably will be for the next couple of weeks D:
I was pondering my character, trying to find a way to relate, and I was wondering if it would be all right if I made references to lyrics of not current pop songs but older, still surviving songs?
And I know, this is a futuristic time period and most songs wouldn't have survived for people to know them, so why would I even ask? Well, first of all, there are plenty of century-old songs that, while they may not be well known or very popular per say, are still recognized as ballads or whatnot. Second of all, I write better if I can relate to my character, and music is one of the best things for me to relate to. That is just me, though.
That's all I basically need to know before I start posting. If it's not okay, that's fine by me
