•Religous: Athiest to a fault, personally finds the mere idea of religion ridiculous in this day and age.

•Gender: Female

•Life: Born to a middle class family, she lead a slightly pampered but normal life until she was 15, when her father was robbed and killed coming home from work one night. This caused her mother to commit suicide a few months later, after being addicted to anti-depressants. Serena left the orphanage after a year, and took up self-taught free running.

•Description: Serena is tall and long-limbed, with a lean muscular build. Her hair is shoulder length and naturally blond, but dyed to a raven black. Her eyes are blue and narrow, her face delicately featured. She tends to wear a black ringmaster hat, combined with violet to black loose fitting clothing.

•Skills: She's passed her driving test, recklessly, but passed. Never used any kind of gun, but has used hand to hand fighting and knives. Excellent free runner, able to scale most buildings, and is also good at lockpicking.

•Pesonality: Flamboyant, extravagant, sarcastic at times. Full of self-confidence to the point of cockiness. Self serving, independant, and finally slightly cowardly (she believes in no-win situations, and avoiding them).

Name: Derek Duke

Appearance: He's of meduim height and build, not a buffed up superstar, but also not a fatty. He has a perma-grin plastered on his face, and straight cheekbone length hair, which is a light brown. His eyes share this light brown, and he has a small beard, just past the 5 oclock shadow point.

Personality: Derek is a sociable, exuberant young man. He has a tendency to make sarcastic remarks and jokes at the expense of others, but strives to get the point across that he isn't insulting them. Nothing seems to be able to get him angry or sad, happyness stuck to him like glue.

Bio: Derek was born to too lower class artists in District 5, so they didn't have much in luxuries, but they still had enough to eat, and never were very uncomfortable. He used to have two younger siblings, fraternal twins, John and Aya. However, Aya was taken for the Hunger Games a few days after she turned 12. Ever since, the Duke household has been in a constant state of minor mourning, except for Derek, who seemed to recover completely after only a few months. Soon after, he took classes in various sword fighting arts, saying it was for a hobby.

Appearance:

Personality: Evans is slightly shy, especially around strangers. However, around people he knows he likes to crack sarcastic comments and join in on the fun. He's logical and fairly knowledgeable, and likes to prove himself to others.

Brief History: At a young age, Evans showed an intense aptitude at school, gaining a reputation for being a brainiac. However, as the years progressed, his early jump slowed to a normal pace, and he no longer had an advantage over others, but works hard to keep up the appearance that he does. He's never moved out of his hometown, but has moved dozens of times around the city. At ten, his father had a serious, but nonfatal heart attack from obesity, so Evan decided to work on being physically healthy. Because of his shyness, he's never been in a relationship, afraid that he'll mess it up.

Name: Jillian (Jill) Ferren

Power: Five-Second Amnesia. Aka, she can make someone forget everything for about five seconds, after which they'll remember everything.
Personality: Jill is a fairly sociable person, and very cocky. Present her with a challenge, and she'll devote herself to it until it's finished (excluding school work)
Looks:
History: Jillian is a 5th generation Pleasantvillian (or whatever you call it XD), in a middle class family. She's an only child to a small time doctor father and a real estate agent mother (who met when her dad was trying to find an office... how corny =D). When she turned 16, she took her driving test...and passed. Then two days later she was hit while crossing an intersection by a drunk driver. She suffered no permament damage, but the car was trashed.
Extra: She writes novels under the false name Sarah Veil, all of which are fairly small time.

Bio: Feril led a fairly boring life, both his parents working as secretaries for various companies, an occupation that Feril ended up following. At seventeen, he landed himself a love of his life, who lasted four years before dumping him. She now makes it her personal mission to make his life miserable, being a vindictice person. At the age of twenty, he moved out and got an apartment in a high rise, in the center of downtown. At the time of the event, he was taking a shortcut through a park to a costume party, thus his current attire.

For We the Damned

Name: Chivin Bedrin

Appearance: Just as a side note, his arm should be black and charred. And he wears clothes =P

Corruption: The reason for Chivin leaving behind his life for the Sancuary is that he can use magic. By touching something, he can instantly ignite it. However, as a result of this, his arms are black and burnt, resembling charred wood, up to the elbow. Obviously this makes it clear as day that he isn't normal.
Personal History: A few weeks before arriving at the Sanctuary, some of the Faith came for his mother, as a scorned local found her revenge by false accusations of witchcraft. Chivin tried to save his mother, and found out about his powers when he burnt the Faithful into whimpering husks. Despite this, his mother was beyond saving, so Chivin ran away to find a safe haven.
Family: Chivins father is a small time blacksmith, barely able to support his family. His mother is recently deceased, and Chivin is off at the Sanctuary.
Other: Might as well use the Other as clothing... Chivin wears knee length brown leather boots, with grey trousers tucked into them. For the torso, he has a beige and black striped button up, with a dark brown leather vest overtop. Finally, he wears velvet black gloves that stretch up above his elbow in an attempt to hide his charred skin.

Brief personality: Valentin is an easy going person, and averageably sociable. However, sometimes at night he'll be racked by nightmares of his past, when his wife was killed in a house fire.
Your opinion on moving into the house: Relieved for a chance to leave behind the past and the memories associated with it. At the same time, he thinks it'll be a good opportunity to relieve the financial burden and get his life back in gear.
Worst fear: That his wife lived through the fire, buried under debris, left alone until she suffacated or starved. Also, he's terrified of yet another house fire, but has that fear under control.
Most prized possession: A small key that he keeps connected to his pocket watch. It used to open the door to his and his wife's house, but now it is simply the last token he has of her.

Sarah can phase-jump (can't think of a better term for it). Where a temporal version of herself splits off from her, and at any time she can suck either it into her, or herself into it. However, she can only hold the phase for about ten seconds, and it can't walk through walls, because either she or temporal-her has to see where it's going. (If you've seen the Chronicles of Riddick, it's abit like the Emperor guys thing.)

However, in all other ways she is happy, ready and willing to laugh, and a general happy-go-to person.

Quirks: Her above mentioned insta-love thing. Also, she has a tendency to bring her ponytail over her shoulder in front of her and fiddle with it when nervous.

Bio: Serena Blackburn was born into a well to do middle class family. Well paying job for the dad, stay at home mom, good school for the kid, the idolized family of today. That is, until her dads hidden morphine addiction came to light. When Serena's mother threatened to tell people, cops, doctors and the like, her father skipped town, after pulling all of the money out of the bank account. Serena's mother flew into spiralling poverty, until she found a job at McDonalds. However, she was a shell of her former self. The comparison of what she used to be and what she was now drove Serena to move out on her own into a small condo. In order to pay for it, she had to work the night shift every night at a small time smoke shop. Slowly, Serena started to become more and more rebellious, eventually turning to small time crimes like minor theft and graffiti. Finally, she got a local parquor runner to teach her the ropes.

Description: Jill has lead a life of bounty, at least compared to the times, so doesn't have the bone thin look of many. By the same token, she also isn't fat, she believes in a healthy body. She's just below normal in terms of height, with a curved figure. Her brownish red hair reaches down to her waist, usually tied into a tight braid. Finally, she has narrow blue eyes, which she likes to describe as lightning blue, but are really just a normal blue.

Background: LANDER Jill's parents were both scholars and teachers on the islands. It was a good life. They weren't suffering from poverty, or full to the brim with riches. However, shortly after Jill turned 23, her parents were killed while sailing in a storm. She inherited the house, and was offered her parents job as teachers, which she accepted. Since then, she has also started a small time trading group, buying and selling goods brought in by Seafarers'.

Items of Worth: She has a small, two bedroom, single story house made with driftwood supports and woven seaweed mats for walls and roof. She also has a small time trading company that is barely making money, worth about a days worth of food every week.
