A bit. Losing half a pound of muscle and bone and enough blood to almost kill me in an explosive attempt to spread me and the people I work with across the landscape as a chunky red paste? Entry 6

Well, more good things are happening. I've got a new job lined up. The local pub is moving to a bigger building, and I've been talking to the owner. Next thursday, I get to start training as a cook/waiter. The owner, Bo, is a cool guy, and whenever my buddies and I head down, we all sit and talk about politics over beer and burgers. We've been going there for years now, and while the new building is too far away to walk to, it's a nicer building closer to the middle of town, so Bo's business will pick up. Any of you in the Pensacola/Fort Walton Beach area, the pub is Bo Day's. Go there, the food is fantastic.

The best part? The employee dress code is "beach casual." Hawaiian shirts, jeans, stuff like that.

Entry 7

Well, things are more or less continuing as they were the last time I posted. I just have a new small things to add.

The new job is getting postponed a bit while Bo sorts out the beer and wine license for the new place. I'm helping get the new place set up, though he already had most of it done. It'll take an afternoon, and I'll get a little extra in my first paycheck. Seems like a good start.

My roomie and his girl seem to be arguing more, but given that she's Irish and he's Mexican/Irish/drunk, this might be foreplay. I honestly don't know.

And yes, I listed Drunk as part of his ancestry. It's the only explination I can come up with for why he thought it would be a good idea to drink five whiskey sours, two 4-Horsemen, six lemon drops, and an Irish Wake in one night. If anyone knows how to calculate Blood Alcohol Concentration, I'm curious about just how drunk he was. He weighs 225 pounds, if it helps.

And lastly, I apparently have a very sexy voice. Why has no one told me this before?
