Shun heard a shout behind him. He could see Terror was enjoying himself. And he could see an armed soldier now. He drew three more arrows, snapping them off at once before shoveing the bow back into it's sheath on Terror's saddle.
"You take this one. If I need you, attack the other dragon. The small one poses less threat."
Shun drew his Masamirai and at the exact moment his rigerous warrior training told him, he jumped. He landed easily on the rear haunch of the dragon, behind the soldier. The tanto at his wrist flashed out and he used to to grip around one of the spikes on the dragon's back, holding his sword in his other hand.
Terror plunged faster, smahsing into the ground. The bottom of his chin suddenly exploded into pain. With a thunderous roar that blasted a massive cloud of fog into the air, he reared, clenching a fist and attempting to hammer it into the smaller being's body. If his eyes could, they would have burned with rage at the deffiance of his quarry.
