For the record, Charon has no knowledge of Glith's spell. The reason he explained the differences between magic and psionics so acutely is, 1. He thinks people distrust what they don't understand, so he wanted to be clear and open about his powers, so that others might understand better, 2. To explain that the demons could not detect his powers (Unless he used them on one of them and it failed), and 3. That's just the way he talks I guess...

Illithids/Mind flayers wouldn't be on the surface world. They're pretty rare even in the Underdark.

I think Charon's psionic abilities would be the safest bet, so we don't have to use magic.

All of this sounds like excellent IC talk. And to me it doesn't matter if Charon knows that Glith had cast the spell. Glith is reasonably suspicious, given the timing of that explanation.

I would say for something running over 2 years, one post every 1.8 days isn't too bad. And it doesn't even seem like 2 years. I sorta did get a new item. I downgraded from a half halberd to a falchion.
