Kostvel shrugged at Glith's reply, figuring that was the only reply he would get from the undead for now. He spared a moment to look about for Charon as well, but didn't spot him. He could only see two sets of footprints exiting from where they had come, so it was very unlikely that he had exited out the same door. Turning back, he quietly folloed Glith inside between the two large doors. His eyes adjusted to the new dim interior light as he blinked slowly. His breath fogged the air before his face, chilled by the temperature difference inside the doors.
He stepped inside fascinated by the myriad of piping and vessels which fulled the large chamber. He followed a line originating from some large glass jar to snake its way through various boxes and stacks of other pipes to eventually lead to some sort of device located at an end of the room. In the dim lighting he couldn't discern what it the contraption was or what it might even do. As he idly walked further into the chamber his boots swept aside a white substance, of which Kostvel assumed was some kind of weird moss or mold. Either way he was more interested in the various pieces of pipe nearby and where they all led. He was too enraptured by the sight to see Glith stumble over to the marble platform set in the distance.
About to inspect the contents of one of the jars, he stepped close preparing to gaze at what dwelt inside. AS he put his hands to the glass, his attention was brought back to Glith as he mentioned something about needing his help.
Pacing across the floor, carefully avoiding some of the pipes which lay along it, he came to a halt near Glith.
“What do you mean ritual? I'm no mage or someone into magics. And what's the purpose of this whole thing? You never really explained much why we're here or anything else.”
