Lone Heroes (Jazz and Megara)

Scarlet sighed and nodded. "Doctors orders...don't worry I won't....move..."

She shook her head and said "Not yet...I want the others to hear it too....when we are all here...all the ones you have called...then I can...tell..."

Malik smiled. She walked into an unoccupied room and set Scarlet on the bed. "Alright. Stay here. Rest up. I need to check on Altair. Kadar is probably watching him now." Malik smiled. He kissed Scarlet's forehead and was walking to the door.

Riku was confused but understood her reasoning. Though he wished to know sooner so if needed be, he could support her or something. "I understand. I will wait till then." Riku said, continuing to wrap her bandage her wounds and finished up soon enough.

Kadar looked around the war room as he stayed near Altair. He noticed the wizard and Dante were still in the room and just wondered forgetting that things were there and walked through the desk of things. He didn't seem happy. He seemed more upset, angry, even scared. This usually wasn't like Kadar back then. Like barely anyone here knew. But some were sure to tell.

Scarlet nodded and leaned back, thinking it all thru. "Something about this we are missing..."

Amebr sighed and said "I am sorry...I just only want to explain this once...with the leaders of the groups...not the main troops"

Dante and Helios were looking thru the books when Helios said "I think I found something....maybe. Its in an old book of myths and legends..."

Malik stopped at the doors entrance and seemed curious to what she was getting at. "What is it? Is there there something I haven't picked up?" Malik asked curiously.

Riku was cleaning up the mess of medical supplies, listening to her request. "I will let the leaders know. But why not tell all of them?" Riku asked. He thought of everyone a leader in their own way. Dragons would have a clan leader, but they were respectful of each other. Just like humans. That Riku found out in his years with them.

Kadar walked over to Helios who was looking through a book. "What did you find within the texts?" Kadar asked. He liked Myths and legends. It was his favorite things to read about. And he always remembered them. He was sure he could ask other spirits about myths and legends. He was sure they would know something interesting that he didnt know.

Scarlet sat up and said "Amber...she's not telling us something...she knows more about this then she is letting on"

Amber said "I don't want questions asked...and the leaders will know the best way to tell their men"

Helios turned the book towards him. "Its one of the creation storied...sort of. That there are other worlds linked to this one, that kind of thing"

Malik turned to face Scarlet. "I would not worry. I am sure she has some reason and will tell us when she is ready." The one arm assassin did wondered why Amber hadnt explained something that maybe important for anyone to know. But he went with his own explanation and hoped that Amber would explain.

Riku nodded. Done cleaning his mess, he sat on the chair beside her bed. He was pondering many things and unsure what to do about these thoughts. He wanted to say something but felt it inappropriate. Yet he had no idea when he would be able to tell her or at least express it.

Kadar thought for a moment and hadn't heard of this one. "What kind of worlds? Like heaven and earth? Or different?" He was certainly curious about this legend now. "What else does it say though." Kadar asked as he tried reading the book.

Scarlet nodded, still looking worried. "Let me go with you...I can more better now"

Amber was looking out the window when she said "Riku...can you get my horse? I need to go somewhere first...as soon as possible"

Helios sat down and read "In the beginning there was one, who deemed the world in need of those to watch over its living pure creatures so he sent his children...those blessed with the powers of space and time...and with the powers they were to guard this land without rage or...envy? That's very odd indeed. Thoughts?"

Malik turned to face Scarlet and shook his head. "No. You still have an ankle that needs healing. And if you start walking on it normally before it's ready and fully healed, you could make it worse. I'm not taking that chance and neither should you. I'm only going to check on Altair and then I'll be right back. I'm sure he is sleeping but that's a good thing." Malik explained to Scarlet. He continued to walk out of the room and shut the door.

Riku shook his head, having to disagree with Amber going out so soon. "You can't go out this soon! You got enough enough already. But if you want to be persistant, let me go with you. But no horses. We'll fly." Riku said, hoping that she would either take his offer or stay in bed.

Kadar thought for a moment as he repeated the saying in his head. Trying to remember what he could. "Well. It sounds familliar. Are they talking about the people like Amber?" He looks to Dante. "You have any thoughts on this?"

Scarlet sighed, leaning back and looking at the wall. "Bloody....I hate this..."

She sighed, then said "Will you allow me to go with Dante? You are needed here right now, and this will not take very long"

Helios shook his head and said "Its not very clear about who...that's all it says about from eye stories which we have no proof are true" Dante leaned back, thinking it thru. "Maybe...it could be related to Amber..."

Malik walked down the hall to the war room to check on Altair in hopes he was asleep like he should. He worried about his friend and how things would turn out if he didnt sleep after using so much energy.

Riku thought for a moment and sighed in faint frustration. "If that is what you wish. I do not see how I am needed here." Riku said as he stood and walked out of the room without anymore talk about it. You could say he felt a hint of jealousy though he didnt know that was what it was. However he felt he wasnt needed here. At least not yet.

Kadar looked to Dante as he thought of the possibility. "Maybe. Is there other books with related stories and legends?"
