Lone Heroes (Jazz and Megara)

She held a finger to her lips, then pointed to the tent. "she's been in there for a while...I'm worried she npmight snap again" amber was pacing the tent, rubbing her temples. Dante had pit his pipe away as he said "your still fighting it. Why? Does the memory hurt so much that you can't bare to think about it" amber suddenly turned, her eyes gold again "don't you think I want to remember! I have nothing in my past up until two years ago. I know dracion is there somewhere but I don't know why! I know your name but I don't know why! I know that I must protect riku at all costs and I have no idea why! I want to know what happened to me, I want to know the truth, but I just can't remember!" outside the tent the shadows were moving on their own, reacting with her emotions.

Riku could see the shadows moving on their own and knew this wasnt good. He quickly stood and ran for the tent as fast as he could. He had to calm down Amber. As he ran past Malik and Altair, he made it to the tent and opened it. Seeing Amber frustrated, yet Dante was calm. Riku didn't like this. He look to Dante angerly. "What's going on here?! Why is Amber frustrated!?" Riku barked. He looked to Amber, walking toward her. He was afraid it wasnt the same Amber he fell in love with. But no matter he loved her in all and was going to make sure she wasn't going to destroy this whole place.

Dante raised his hand. "it's alright, riku. She's fine. I have a feeling she has needed this for quite some time..." amber was breathing hard, her eyes fading back to there normal green color. She took deep breathes, trying to relax again. Dante nodded. "good...now, do you feel better?" amber nodded, closing her eyes. Dante looked at riku. "you should be resting. Even dragons need to take it easy, I should know. You both need to remember what happened that day before it's too late to stop dracion from wiping out the rest of the world"

Riku looked to Dante, his face calm. "I know what happened that day...You think one would forget the destruction of ones clan and be the only survivor with no one to depend on while in their times as a hatchling!? I'll take it easy when Dracion is dead." Riku looked to Amber and became more calm. "Sorry I interrupted your meeting. I hate it when Amber has shadows moving around unintensionally." Riku then made his leave and made his way to Scarlet.

Amber grabbed his arm, her eyes still closed. She needed him here, for what she did next would be the hardest thing she had ever had to do. She said quietly "it was a dark day...I had just returned from a mission in the sotputh lands...I was tired but for once not in bad shape. Then I came apon the village...dragons fighting each other. Bodies everywhere....I couldn't understand why they were doing this...they were friends, family, loved ones...and yet something was turning them into monsters. Then I saw dracion in the temple, glowing with dark power...I went to her...asking her what had happened. Ahe was to protect the clan while I was gone. But she turned and I saw evil in her eyes. She told me that I shouldn't have to suffer to protect those who were not worthy...that she planned to save me by destroying those that would part us...that it was her curse that had turned the clan on each other. I fought with her, but time was running out. If I didn't hurry, the whole clan would be claimed by this...I ran to the outposts, warning these unaffected to run, to go into hiding, that I would come for them when it was safe...I had found one hatchling...being protected by his dying mother...she begged me to protect him...so I took him to the leader of the guard. I told him to take him away...somewhere safe...when they were gone...the battle between me and my sister in arms began..." tears were running down ambers cheeks now, the memory fresh in her mind

Riku looked to Amber when she stopped him and stood there. He listened to her as she spoke out the memory. Riku saw the memory and the tears going down Amber's cheeks. Riku felt sorrow and felt it from both of them. He pulled his hand back as she was guided to him by the pull. Riku then wrapped his arms around her. He remembered that day. His clan fighting, his father fighting them so he could protect his hatchly and mate. His mother dying before his eyes she tried to get them out of there, and that person...that person that got him to safety. It was her, Amber. The one he fell in love with.
Riku held Amber close, letting her cry if she wanted to. Riku had some tears forming in his eyes. When he closed his eyes, the tears ran down his face. 'Heh...now she has me crying...I do miss mother....father...Oh please protect us like you did me back then...Please help us...' Riku prayed as he looked down but his eyes still closed. His let his hair hide his face.

Amber did cry, silently into his shoulder. Dante leaned back and said "its a start...but its not everything..."

Riku let Amber continue to cry on his shoulder. He looked to Dante. "Give her time...You cant rush things. Including memories." Riku replied, not wanting Amber to feel rushed. She needed to remember and feel so flooded with memories that she might go into a coma.

She started shaking, the rush becoming too much. Dante looked at her. "it might be already too late..."

Riku looked to Amber as she started shaking and held her closer. "Amber? Amber dont let it overwhelm you. Please...You dont need to rush. You have time. Remember bits at a time. I'm here for you. Don't forget." Riku didn't want her to go into a coma for this. He didnt want her to rush. Riku was afraid this was going to happen. He would yell at Dante for this later. Right now he was more worried for Amber.
