Lone Heroes (Jazz and Megara)

She nodded and removed the clothing, grunting in pain. "I hope she can...she's the first person I have met who is so...selfless..."

Altair gently put the bandage pad in her shoulder, a wet yet think cloth was wrapped around her shoulder. Once he was done wrapping her shoulder he continued to her arm a little to make sure it stayed. "This will hard as like a cast. Your upper arm wont be able to move. We have a sling so the pain will ease on your shoulder." Altair explained. He then reached for a sling and set it next to her. They had to wait a few minutes for the wet bandage to dry and harden.

She nodded, dlinching. Then said "Altair...where is riku? Is he with amber?"

Altair shrugged. "I don't know. I think Riku went to wait on the others to come. I'm sure he'll come and check up on her. I'm even sure Malik will come check up on you." Altair said lightly touching the bandage to see if it was dry. It wasn't there yet but another minutes should do the trick.

She looked at him, blushing. "why would he come check on me?"

Dante and the others landed in the courtyard and dante shifted back. But blood dripped from his side and he stumbled. "we...ran into...some trouble...but I blasted them.." he told riku, then fell to his knees

Altair looked to Scarlet with a small smile. It was rare to see too. "Honestly I think he likes you. He may treat women with respect like some of us in the brotherhood but from what I have seem he gives you more respect as you do for him-" Altair stopped in the middle of his sentence as he heard something. He looked to Scarlet then rushed to go outside. He looked toward the doctors and waved then over. "We have wounded. Attend to them, Hurry!" Altair shouted as some doctors came out to get the wounded. Some Assassins helped the doctors out.

Riku came down from the top of the Fortress, hearing what Dante said and nodded. Malik was among the wounded only had some minor scraps. He was fine however. Malik then made his way inside to the Fortress to find Scarlet. He stopped to see Altair and smiled as he put a hand on his shoulder. Altair returned the gesture with smirk. The one-armed assassin then made his way toward Scarlet. Seeing the cast, Malik saw the sling and put it on her. How he did it would be a mystery. "There you go. I see Altair has treated to your injuries. How is Amber? Any word yet?" Malik asked looking at his handy work.

Dante grabbed Riku's arm, his whole body shaking. "Amber's in danger lad...you are her only chance at fighting her sister...don't forget who you were meant to be..." He grunted and then lost his grip fell forward.

Scarlet shook her head. "No. I haven't heard anything.." Then she saw his blood. "Malik, your hurt. Stay there, I will take care of those" She got up and start gathering suppliies, which was odd to watch her do with one arm

Riku caught Dante as he fell forward. Th doctors came and got him, taking him inside to get treated. Riku thought for a moment as then went inside to go check on Amber.

Malik was surprised of how Scarlet was reacting. He couldn't help but smile. Malik grabbed Scarlet's arm before she could grab anything else. It wasn't a Harsh grab. It was gentle. "Calm down. I'll be fine. These are little scraps. They can heal on their own with little help. I appreciate the kindness. I really do, Thank you." Malik said with a soft smile. He had never felt this much kindness except from his brother and Altair.

Scarlet looked at him, blushing slightly. "its okay...I wold hate for them to get infected..." She sat by him and started to clean the cuts, her face going bright red.

Amber was laying in a bed, still feverish but it was going down. She turned her head, feeling the pain Riku and Dante were in. It was new to her, and it caused her to gasp in pain and grab her side and shoulder.

Malik smiled and let just stood there, letting Scarlet clean his wounds. He noticed her face going bright red and wondered if she was okay. He felt a bit concerned but yet he didn't know what to do.

Riku walked up to Amber as he some good signs. Well till he held her side and her shoulder. It was like the exact spot where He had gotten bite as where Dante got hit. Riku felt worried about her. Putting a hand on her shoulder, he was unsure of the cause but now he wished the pain for Amber would just go away. He thought there was no reason she had to bare both his and Dante's pain. He started thinking about was Dante said. He thought for a good while. But came out of his thoughts from time to time to see how Amber was holding up. He wondered what he could do...
