Bonaparte is the bioengineered being forged from the body of an alien species known as the Opaz. As an unadvanced species, the arrival of an extinction level event decimated their numbers to a literal handful. Abducted from there, those who survived were biologically augmented beyond recognition. Each served as a subject for a different experiment. Bonaparte’s, in particular, happened to advance him far beyond the rest of his species. His forced exposure to sentience saw him grow from a basic beast to an individual whose intellect surpassed even his creators. After doing such, he began to alter his traits and DNA through science, slowly but surely augmenting his frame to that of a bipedal individual. Little did he resemble his original self. Though some may see this as a reflection of self-hate, it was merely a means of evolving himself to a form which he felt better represented his intellect.
Personality: Due to the manner in which he came enlightened to life, Bonaparte is a noted skeptic of all things. He thinks in a way that constantly questions the universe and the purpose of it. Because of this, he has little regard for authority. He’s an absurdist in principles and believes heavily in the idea that whoever is “God” is who currently has the power to manifest their will. This could be a king in power or even be some Akashic deity. It is never specific. Considering his creation was the works of those “playing God”, his philosophy on life as a whole is bent far beyond many are willing to understand.
Probably the most interesting aspect of his personality is his constant battle with committing to nihilist principles. He is extremely fickle in whether to intervene or allow chaos to resume. This trait is more so or less him attempting to escape his internalized apathy for all things. Though he’ll say otherwise, Bonaparte has never simply come to a decision on leaving dangerous matters in the hands of others. For someone who often labels life as “meaningless”, he sure does a lot at times to protect it for others. As kind as he sounds, it should never be assumed that he would extend so much for every event. To prevent future suffering, he is noted at times to boldly recommend death.
Appearance: Bonaparte’s skin was an intense gray. When clothed, his appearance was a very lanky humanoid with extremely broad shoulders. With that said, he was far more comparable to a Wampyrus Sauria Vampire than a human. Vampire he was not, but the way he augmented his body to this point has left him often mistaken as so. His appendages were webbed, and in total, he had four arms. Covering his nose down was a black woven fiber facemask that draped halfway past his arms like a huge scarf. Why? To cover his otherwise fear inducing appearance. Mainly, this served to hide the fact that he has rows upon rows of sharpened teeth. Despite this, he often spoke clearly and in a sophisticated tone. The only time his voice managed to take on a more monstrous resonance is when he became enraged. Though his eyes were bloodshot and overall veiny, his bronze set of pupils often calm and daze those who stare into them. His feet were large and seemingly no shoe could properly contain them as they were talon-like. Due to this, he elected to walk bare.
As for his body, it was covered in a highly elastic and durable black biosuit that worked in conjunction with his abstract body prosperities to provide cover without limiting his natural abilities.
Abilities
Rubber anatomy: Bonaparte’s body can stretch, twist, and flatten to unreal lengths with no risk of breaking. How his body's respiration and circulatory systems function at these distorted extremes is unknown. This gave him the ability to fling and lunge himself at ridiculous speeds and reach things seemingly unobtainable. Sharp objects in his presence often felt blunt and merely poked him without much consequence. Though this was so, his hands, head, and feet were not known to strike or grip soft. He had the ability to solidify them independently and crush or lacerate most things at will. (4)
Slippery when wet: When touched, he naturally secreted a slippery liquid that served many reasons, but primarily it was to hydrate and cool his exterior. Naturally, it was flame retardant but its most conventional use was as a lubricant. Bonaparte often used it to squeeze himself through the tiniest of gaps and spaces. (3)
Engineered optics: Bonaparte has performed many experiments to increase his eyesight in order to have them perform at apex levels even under intense levels of stress. As a result, he can effectively see in the darkest of spaces, through smoke and even underwater. (3)
Items
Self-Engineered Biosuit: This custom suit was very simplistic in design with its fairly standard coal black design. The most notable characteristic of the skin tight suit was that it allowed for the one way secretion of liquids and gases from the inside out. It helped maintain body temperature under harsh conditions and effectively stretched with Bonaparte’s body. (2)
FMG-9: (2x) The FMG-9 is a submachine gun that folds up into a rectangular block the size of a laptop battery. It's mostly made of a lightweight polymer and is securely attached to the hip of Bonaparte with little indication of what exactly it is. It is much more powerful than its size indicates and can willfully penetrate the mightiest of armors. It is effective from close to mid range but whereas most bulletproof surfaces can resist it from afar; almost anything is vulnerable to being pelted to shreds by it at close range with its explosive set of rounds. Z-040 Attenuation Field Generator: (2x) A grenade made from ionized particles, this grenade is not a prototypical grenade. It is roughly cube-shaped with the appearance of a platonic icosahedron with bright orange spikes on each corner of its face. When detonated, it releases a powerful blast of ionized particles in the form of spikes that pelt and surround the target. These can be used to cut off areas or to hit a living target directly. The generated pulse can potentially slow vehicles and drains shields in somewhat of an EMP effect. If bombarded by too many of the spikes, targets can see entire limbs disintegrate into orange particles of energy and float away as cinders. (4)
