Blanche Species: Vampire Gender: Female Age: She's a good hundred and fifty three, but looks to be twenty-two when she dresses up, seventeen when she's more relaxed. Occupation: [s]Princess[/s] Lady of the House Personality: Rheia's about as predictable as a bomb with no countdown. She has a tendency to snap over the littlest things, and is not above physical abuse of her household's servants, getting more aggressive the more self-aware a servant is. She's intelligent, having come from high education, and such wit can be observed through her sarcastic and snarky quips. Rheia also has a very large interest in the human world and humans in general, intrigued by both their blood variations and brittleness in general. Bio: Lady Rheia's history is simple enough, well-known in her own home. She was raised in a rich vampiric family, to a lovingly doting father and a mother who no one gave a shit about. At a young age she had already been engaged to another rich lord, and perhaps it was here where she spiraled out of control. Rather marry this young man, her adventuring took her into the arms of an older, thousands year old vampire infinitely richer. She begged her lovingly doting father that they'd fallen in love, canceling her prior engagement and straight away marrying the old coot. Even then, the servants say, Rheia's eyes glittered with gold. A fan of all things shiny, she never spent time in her husband's bedroom, fascinated more with the rooms filled with jewels that sparkled and shone even in the dark. She visited her husbands room only once or twice to sleep and even less as their marriage continued, he falling into a deep sleep on the day of their sixth year anniversary. It came without warning, the Lord's slumber, but Rheia took it all in stride. With confidence in her step and in her voice, she richly controlled the panic within the house and continued everything in the Lord's shoes. It was good and well, Lady Rheia filling papers and throwing parties and overall enjoying whatever power she had. The servants aren't too sure exactly when she started going a bit nutty, but they're sure it was also around the time some rascal sneaked in the house through a secret library. A library even Rheia hadn't heard of. They say Lady Rheia disappeared for periods of times after the incident, and no one knew where she went, and no one was sure if the Lady was okay or if she was getting ready to go into deep sleep, too. But one day she came back for good, and though she didn't speak for the first few months or so, it was clear she had learned things- things that changed her. From then on she became more on edge, her tantrums no longer quenched by rich displays of glittering gourds or shimmering rocks. They weren't sure when it started- or if it actually started at all and wasn't there all along- but Rheia started only being calmed down by the sight of her servants either physically harming themselves or humiliating themselves or one another in front of her. Ever loyal to the head of the household, the servants found it themselves their duty to do whatever they could in order to please the young Lady, to the point where a servant was once beheaded to stop Lady Rheia from crying. (Beheadings no longer occur on the case that it is generally very uncomfortable for the servants and is a punchline that's too quick for a joke that wasn't all that.) Everything was okay, despite Lady Rheia's crazy tantrums and sudden tears and bursts of cheerful laughter- she was all over the place, but at least she was still there. Then one day, a rumour started circulating throughout the castle that her husband was about to wake up after a hundred years or so of slumber, and lately Rheia's been leaving the castle again and getting more angry than any other emotion on the spectrum. This time she has two maids following her at all times though, so the house is less worried about her disappearing or falling asleep on them and more worried about the paperwork piling in her work room. Stuff you often carry: She often carries two armed maids and two kitchen knives hidden under the first layer of fabric in her dress. Other than that, there's nothing more to note that she carries with her spare the clothes on her back- ah, except maybe perhaps, a small locket she wears at all times, inscribed with the Lord's family crest. Type of magic, if any: Rheia is capable of all vampiric abilities, but other than that, she is also able to induce nightmares to the waking. It's a bit like intensified hypnotism, but rather than attract, it induces fear. Anything else? The smell of out-of-the-dryer laundry and swedish fish.
