A - yeah, two characters is fine, but I'd say let's hold on the secondaries at least until we get the RP moving a little. Raineh - While liches are my favorite thing listed besides dullahan, it doesn't feel like you'd be able to do much. They sort of all hang out in the tower all day keeping shit running. As the RP moves and Goat & I throw some wrenches in, we may need one later depending on how things go, though, so I'll be sure to give you first dibs :) Rin - Looking forward to it :) Roxas - You could always find some random generators for character traits and hit the "generate" button a few times until you find some you like, then go from there. Worst case scenario, [s]Mima expy[/s] we play a couple rounds of yugioh (I'm feelin' real confident in my Aliens today) and an idea hits you while we're dueling. The best ideas hit us when we're not thinking about that topic, after all :) With all that done, here's my character ^_^
Name: Natsumi Fujiyama Species: Yuki-onna Gender: Female Age: Despite a young appearance suggesting that she's no older than 20, Natsumi's age is a solid two-hundred and thirty-seven. Occupation: High school teacher (subject: art) Personality: Something of an artist from the very get-go, Natsumi is a very calm and stoic individual with a deep appreciation for visual appeal. Though she may not smile often, she's an altogether happy person who encourages others to focus on good things rather than let the bad things linger. Ironically enough, she herself lingers on her very name, and the irony of being a yuki-onna whose name means "summer beauty" is something that will distress her to no end if brought up. Were she a more expressive person, she'd probably yell at the people who brought it up. She feels most at home when making art. Whether they're paintings, ice sculptures, or food, the things Natsumi creates are what make her happiest in life. She also has a deep respect for her original home of Japan and its cultures, and despite living all the way across Gravetown, she'll never miss a festival taking place in Yomi. Ever. "But then why not live in Yomi instead of Foggy Lake," right? Despite her love of festivals and her willingness to teach art, Natsumi is a bit of a loner in the end, and chose to live in one of the less-crowded parts of town because of it. And of course, as a yuki-onna, she has a natural attraction to cold places. Bio: Born in the middle of the Edo period, Natsumi's early life isn't one she remembers so well. She remembers the last few months of her life, though. She was a slasher. A psychotic mass-murderer. She doesn't remember how or why she killed so many people, but she knows she had a katana, and she knew how to use it. Natsumi remembers that she was angry about something, and swore revenge on a person she can't recall. She'd tracked her target to a forest one winter. The most vivid memory of Natsumi's life was finding the person she'd sworn revenge on, and losing against him in a swordfight. He let her live, but she froze to death under a blanket of snow later that day. From that day on, Natsumi was a yuki-onna. After death, she found an inner peace she hadn't known for at least a decade, and the rage of a slasher subsided. Natsumi moved on to take up a liking for the arts she'd missed out on in life. Granted, it wasn't easy to appreciate these things while people feared her simply for being a yuki-onna. It took a couple of years for her to learn of Gravetown, and no time at all for her to decide that's where she was meant to be. Leaving all her belongings behind, Natsumi left Earth and went on to Gravetown. Once there, she was put in the Yomi district to begin her afterlife in the city of the dead. She quickly moved on to Foggy Lake instead, becoming an art teacher for a high school located near Mortem Park. She's been teaching there for two-hundred and thirty-five years. She's become quite good at it. Stuff you often carry: The only two things Natsumi consistently carries with her are a tiny notebook and a pen. Allegedly, the notebook is filled with haiku poems. Type of magic, if any: As a yuki-onna, Natsumi naturally has a firm grip on ice magic. Anything else? As one may expect from a yuki-onna, her classroom and home are both notoriously cold.
