What do you call a guy named Richard getting married?

Hitchcock.

Hitch: Getting married.

Cock: Another name for penis

Dick: Synonym for cock and also a nickname for someone named Richard.

And thus the joke is ruined, and therefore lame.

It's not actually a contraction, everyone called Richard is just a terrible person.

It's not as common as Richie, but it is a name. Apparently came from the English trying to say Richard like the Normans and the r came out like a d. And thus, the Dick rose.

I was getting into the car with a friend of mine, and I saw a Bumblebee, and I was like, "Hey, look, a Bumble!"

"What the hell is a Bumble?" my friend asked.

I paused for a moment and then said, "What else could a Bumble be?"

We've since cut ties.

EDIT: This is actually a true story, though I added the cutting ties for dramatic effect.

Agreed, I mean comedy is mostly about making fun of misery, but there's something more fucked up about those kinds of jokes though.

Yeah, I mean, I guess I respect the cleverness of some of those jokes, but the content just doesn't sit right with me. It's like, if you can laugh about that heartily without feeling bad at all, what makes you any better than Azarthes?
