[b][u]Kyokujitsu no Tochi[/u][/b] [b]History[/b] After the destruction of much of the mainland, including almost the entirety of Konohagakure, the Land of Fire was remade as Kyokujitsu no Tochi, to represent the rebirth of the nation as a whole. Sankage Shichishodai Shikata, Ayameko, former Hokage, created a new government to include the smaller shinobi nations that had become a part of the Land of Fire. In an effort to rebuild her nation, Ayameko moved the historic capital of the Land of Fire from Konohagakure to the north, closer towards the new territories that had become a part of their nation, renaming the capital Kyokujitsugakure. The former lands of Konohagakure serve as a memorial for those lost during the destruction caused by the bijuu. [b]Geographical Description[/b] Kyokujitsu no Tochi is one of the most diverse geographical landscapes, spanning from the cold northern territories to the tropical southern lands. Largely flat, Kyokujitsu no Tochi only has incredible terrain changes in the west and north, where it runs into the mountains dividing them from the Lands of Earth and Wind in the west, and the Land of Lightning in the North. It does, however, have a small section of mountains in its most northern most territory. Plantlife is abundant in Kyokujitsu no Tochi, with a wide range of crops. The open plains scattered throughout are often utilized for agriculture [b]Political Structure[/b] Kyokujitsu no Tochi is not a strict democracy. While there is representation from all villages, the Sankage has final authority on all matters. What makes this as successful as it is, is the long history the Land of Fire used to select its leadership. At the end of each Sankage's lifespan, their soul is brought back to the mortal world and returned to Yggdrasil, which sits firmly in the new capital of Kyokujitsugakure. The tree, along with all of the previous Hokage and Sankage choose from youth selected by the represented council to become the next Sankage. When the Sankage is selected, they are given the title not only of Sankage, but take on the name Shikata. Ayameko, Shichishodai Shikata is the predecessor of Hokage Shichijūnin Shikata Kibō. Ayameko's full title is Shodai Sankage Shichishodai Shikata Ayameko. Representation from the outlying villages is left largely up to the culture of each village. Each territory provides a singular representative. For most of the current instances, the former surviving Kages of those lands were selected as their lands representative. However, most of those territories have since moved towards popular elections to select their representatives when their current ones leave office. [b]Religion [/b] Kyokujitsu no Tochi's Land of Fire is quite religious, with many of the populace adopting a practice of worship at many of the Shrines for the Bijuu, which they call Seishin. This movement is spreading slowly to the other lands, which have been slower to adopt the practice. [b]Economy[/b] While the largest exporter of agriculture goods, Kyokujitsu no Tochi's economy is as diverse as its geography, with a wide varieties of industries thriving within its borders. The northern territories are noted for mineral resources, while the south especially noted for its ripe fruits that grow year round. The center is noted for its production of wool, cotton, and lumber, which supplied clothing and paper to the rest of the nation. Animals are rarely, if ever, eaten within Kyokujitsu no Tochi, a combination of tradition and the advancement of new plantcrops that provide nearly identical taste and texture to food. Additionally, Kyokujitsu no Tochi is well noted as a research nation, with a significant portion of its time and energy being put into medical and barrier research. [b]Clan List[/b] [i]Masazane[/i] The Masazane clan is a historical staple in the Land of Fire. Noted for their manipulation of metal, they have served the village as smiths of unique and powerful weapons. [i]Yuki[/i] The Yuki clan is charged with keeping records for the Land of Fire. They run the Omoide no Kinko-shitsu, the library for Kyokujitsu no Tochi. They posses incredible memories and information retrieval within the library. [i]Uchiha[/i] Wielders of the Sharingan, the Uchiha provide Kyokjitsu no Tochi with the bulk of its Intel forces and military police. [i]Hyuuga[/i] The Hyuuga is the second oldest clan in Kyokujitsu no Tochi and its members have access to the Byakugan. Many members of the Hyuuga clan join the Senkensha, a sensory division for Kyokujitsu no Tochi. [i]Senju[/i] The clan of the Shodai Hokage, noted for its ability to utilize the Mokuton nature, given to it by the tree Yggdrasil. They are the oldest clan in Kyokujitsu no Tochi and have exceptional reverence for Yggdrasil. The largest percentage of Kages for the Land of Fire have come from this clan. [i]Nara[/i] The Nara clan is well known throughout Kyokujitsu no Tochi. Keepers of the Hiden that allows the manipulation of Shadows, Nara clan members work in a variety of roles throughout the village. Noted for their cleverness and ingenuity, they are well respected.
