Gonna hop on this train, expect a character soon
Name: Hao Ryota Age: 16 Gender: Male Hometown: Just outside Saffron City, Kanto. My father owns a cabin in Johto where I spent part of my childhood, and it has become sort of a second-home to me. How would you describe yourself? A bit of an intellectual, but wasn't ever very good in traditional school. Some people say I'm prideful and hard to get along with, but I don't see that very much. I guess I like to tell jokes, but people are hard to figure out and never show their true intentions, so I'm a bit of a pariah. Not afraid to get down-and-dirty, to sweat with the rest, and not bothered at all by hard work. I do have a sort of fear of open-water, so just try getting me onto a boat. And water-type Pokemon? Forget 'em. Useless on land, and I'm not going to test their potential out there in the waves. Why do you want to be a Ranger? My father was a Ranger in his young life, and his father was a Ranger as well. I would say it's a bit of a tradition amongst my family; my sisters and cousins choose to pursue lives as trainers or work in larger cities, but the men in my branch of the family can't find any excitement in that. Do you want to Help, Hurt, or Hunt? Hurt. Wait! Wait! I know that sounds kind of cruel, but sometimes Pokemon just need to be reigned in, reminded that we are their masters. There are dangerous things out there, and we can't all sit around saving Corsola from fishing nets, can we? Do you have any Special Skills? I guess my survivalist skills are something to note, and I can pretty much live on my own in comfort. I can cook a stew that'll put a smile on a Snubbull's wrinkly face. What is your Favorite Type of Pokemon and why? Steel, it's gotta be the strongest choice. Pokemon like Aggron and Steelix are naturally at the top of the food-chain. Anything else we need to know about you? Do you have some dark secret? A condition? Or perhaps you really like a certain type of pokemon? I have a rather mild case of Epilepsy, sometimes brought on by bright lights or sudden sounds. Not enough that it can be deemed a debilitating medical condition, but it's not the kind of thing I like to experience all the time.
If I'm a little late to the party, that's fine, I'll just leave this here in case someone falls out.
