For a moment, everything was dark and quiet. The quiet part was interupted by a high pitched feminine voice. "Hey! You dead?" Cadence also felt a poking sensation at her side. Cadence slowly got up, stretched her arms, and yawned loudly, as she started to stand up. Once she had rose to her feet, she looked around and saw she was in some sort of forest place. Then that voice spoke again. "Yaaay! You're not dead!" Cadence looked to see who was speaking to her, and he saw a small creature that looked like a small, cream colored, puppy. The dog had a gold collar with strange markings engraved into it around her neck. "Hi, I'm Salamon." She said with a smile. "What might your name be?" Cadence didn't quite know what to make of this, but one thing was certain, this Salamon thing was absolutely adorable. Her eyes widened. "You are just soooooo cute!" She shouted as she grabbed the poor creature, and started squeezing the life out of her. Forgetting that this was a living creature, and not just some squeeze toy. "Air! I need air!" Salamon shouted. She waved her tiny paws around frantically trying to get free of the girl's grip. Cadence immediately released Salamon, after being poked by her needles. "Oh... whoopsie! Sorry about that." She smiled sheepishly. The small dog started to catch her breath. "Name's Cadence by the way." "Hi! I'm looking for someone named Cadenza Amoré. That person is supposed to be my partner." The blonde girl giggled. "Hehe, that's my name silly! I just like Cadence better. My real name sounds waaaay too fancy. Anyway, what's this about a partner?" "I'mma Digimon. The two of us are gonna be working together. Do you have a Digivice on ya?" Cadence raised an eyebrow. "I... don't know... what is that?" Salamon jumped into Cadence's purple purse and dug around inside, looking for something. "Here it is found it!" The puppy was carrying that strange device Cadence had found earlier. "This is a Digivice. It's supposed to be the link between the hearts of humans and digimon... Or... something like that. I'm not entirely sure. I do know that it's important though! So guard that with your life!" The dog then jumped into her partner's arms. "You can carry me. Just, don't squeeze too hard, K?" Cadence laughed at how enthusiastic her new partner was. She took the device out of Salamon's mouth, and put it back into her purse. "Alrighty!" She started walking ahead, but didn't have any idea where she was going in this unfamiliar place. "Hey Salamon, where exactly are we?" "The Jungle Terminal in the Digital World silly." She said that with a giggle, as if that was common knowledge. "Oh yes of course. How silly of me."
