Criston - Auditorium “Hey,” At the sound of a voice, Criston turned to the boy he'd freed just a moment ago. “Is there a place we can evacuate to or something? Not fit for anything else, but I can let people know where they should go.” The boy asked. Criston blinked for a moment, trying to think. With a sad smile, he shook his head. "I'm afraid not." He spoke, lying. In truth, there was an underground for students to hide in should the situation require it. But... The situation didn't really require it. He knew his mother's judgement was good and he, like Brako, trusted her. "Just... Stay here and help where you can. I think that's all we can do, for now." He continued, looking around the room, his head raised, alert. ”How’s it going over here?” He heard a voice asked and he turned to see a girl, walking up to them. She then eyed the other boy (Leroy) and began to tend to him. "I think you know how it's going." He answered her, smiling as he watched her. He lifted his head to scan the room and noticed a pile of rubble with a small white arm moving around under it. He dashed over quickly and lifted the debris. Under it, he found Drow. He blinked, his face blank as he looked down at her. With a huff, he reached down and picked her up with one hand, pulling her up next to him. He let the rubble fall back and then carried Drow over to Little Feather. "Excuse me. I'd hate to ask any more of you, but she needs a little help." He told Little Feather from a distance. He gave the girl a warm smile and stayed standing, holding Drow for the indian girl. --- Lily - Outside She blinked when she felt wings encase her, pulling her away from the fray. For a moment, she couldn't breath and tears began to form in her eyes. Mom? She watched with big, wide eyes as the wings moved to reveal a silver haired woman. For a moment, Lily's spirits fell, it was not her mother. But then, something in the eyes of the woman sparked something. She blinked, watching her. “Bad place to stand honey, these guys do not seem the type to play fair.” She spoke with a light, almost... floating voice. Lily sat on the ground, stunned without words. She blinked, watching the woman turn to the fight. M-Mer... Mercy? Her brows furrowed and her heart race sped up. But what was Mercy doing here? And why did she seem so strange? As if she didn't know who Lily was. She didn't call Lily by her old nickname, simply referring to her as honey as she did with everyone. Lily sat watching, distress clearly pasted on her face, tears even. Tears of... relief, pain, sorrow, loss... even some emotions she didn't understand. Why was she so sad thinking about Melody? Why was she so relieved to see Mercy and... pained to see that she didn't know Lily. Slow tears fell from the angels eyes. Quickly, she wiped them, not wanting anyone to think she'd been hurt. --- Brako - Shadows He smiled at the girl, Little Feather, wasn't it? Seeing how they all worked together only firmed his belief in them and his passion for his job. He would protect these children to the end of the world and back. He'd go to hell for them if that was what it took. He noticed Criston and had even noticed the boy stealing glances at him. He let out a small sigh, watching the boy move about. He'd spent too many years here under this kind of distress. Though, this was the first time in a long time. Brako wasn't honestly surprised Criston wasn't freaking out more than he showed. All those years ago... Brako shook his head slowly, pushing the thought away. No matter, the boy seemed to be doing fine now.
