Still watching the ground with sad eyes, the small angel jumped when a hand rested itself on her shoulder. She looked up to see Bael, dressed in the clothes she'd bought for him. [b]"Hey, missed me?"[/b] He asked, pulling on her arm gently to make her stand. She paused for a moment, looking him up and down and a smile grew on her face despite the tears. Without another word, she threw herself onto him, wrapping her arms around her neck. [b]"I'm so glad you're safe."[/b] She spoke, her voice soft and crackling because of the tears. [b]"You shouldn't be here, Lily! It's dangerous. Come on, let's-... Hey, you're crying? What's up? You didn't got hurt, did you?!"[/b] He asked, a hint of worry in his voice. She let out a small hiccuped chuckle and shook her head, pulling away. She was standing now, right in front of Bael. It was as if the fight had disappeared from her mind. Her worries about Mercy and her mother were gone, the fight like a distant bug, a mere annoyance. [b]"I'm fine. The woman with the short white hair saved me... And... Mercy..."[/b] She explained, her voice trailing at the end. She looked over at Mercy, watching her fight with worry in her eyes. [b]"She saved me as well."[/b] She continued, motioning to Mercy. [i]"See. You should have left. All you do is cause trouble for people!"[/i] [i]Maybe.... I do...[/i] [i]"Yes. Just leave!"[/i] Inside, the sealed portions of Lily's soul stirred. She sat watching everything unfold, her anger at younger self rising. To think she was honestly relieved to see this boy. Ugh! It was frustrating...
