I didn't say anything about the small gun things, there fine.
being shot in the leg can be a death sentence, there are large blood vessels within the legs that if shot will spew a lot of blood, it wouldn't be long before you bled out.
but lets say we hold our suspension of disbelief, it is a rp after all. You still cant just shoot someone's character, you have to ask them to do something like that.

Also as a shooter of double barrel shotguns, I know you can not load more than 2 rounds in them, unless you carried multiple gauges of shot (Which would be pointless)
And if you did somehow fit 6 shells into your barrel the blast would fire out of the barrel to the side.
