Charles turns around to walk down to corridor again when he hears a gunshot, he curses and swings the shotgun off his back and fires a blind shot down the corridor before pulling his M9 out and firing as he walks down the corridor.

(i realised that if the bullet hit my eye i would be killed instantly so in taking a different approach to this)
