Crash Crash’s goofy smile remained stoically on his face at Kathy’s answer, he felt a tingle of joy swirl through his chest at the smile that crossed her face. He wasn’t sure he wanted to admit how much he’d missed that...well her in general. “I pegged you as someone with a keen sense of direction...and you think I’m good company? I’m actually quite flattered” Crash nodded his approval, a playful smirk crossing his face. Of course a warm smile spread across his face as she reached up to ruffle his hair, a welcome he was used to by now he was trying really hard to resist the urge to just hug her...yet again he wasn’t a personal bubble breaking hug monster like a lot of people Don’t do it...just speak like a normal person His arms twitched up from his sides a little before he lifted his hand to the back of his neck barely catching what she said, her words made his face flush with color. “I’m really glad to see you too, I’ve missed you” He admitted looking a little sheepish for a moment, though he perked up as she laughed lightly feeling a weight lift from his shoulders as he grinned at her. “Really? I always thought a party of one was rather empty. A party of two is way more fun” He assured her with a playful wink, trotting after her as she continued to walk on. “There’s a beach here?” He queried with a sly smile being a git apparently, he half expected a punch in the arm. “Seriously though, beach’s are overrated they’re everywhere...that thing up there is the place to look round. Swimming and surfing can wait until later” Crash put forward, his excitement almost getting the better of him as he spoke rather fast. “Sorry...I’m like a puppy on speed today” He apologized with a sigh, his thought processes were coming and going at such a rapid speed he was going to make himself dizzy. “Where do you want to go first?” He asked her brightly taking the initiative and hopping out in front of her, spinning to face her and walking backwards...something Crash should probably never do. He kept his eyes trained very accurately on Kathy’s face or the surrounding scenery for fear of his cheeks reaction to her attire, he could only hope he wasn’t being too obvious... Resort...houses...this place is a large island there must be other stuff scattered all over the place. Maybe caves, or pirate coves? Buried treasure... Crash shook his head visibly looking rather perplexed by something, probably his own thoughts. Pirates really? “I don’t want to pry but did you get up to much the last couple of weeks? I erm tried to text...but I don’t think they went through” Crash asked and stated all within the same sentence, just to prove he shouldn’t have been walking backwards Crash reversed himself into a palm tree. “Oof!” He exclaimed, making the entire trunk shake as he fell back against it though it wasn’t as embarrassing as his previous tumble he lifted a hand to the back of his neck. Another sheepish grin crossing his expression though it was quickly replaced by shock as something hard connected with his head causing him to duck down and clutch it. “What the...” He started automatically checking Kathy’s feet the last assault to his head had been her shoe, this time however it was a tiny coconut that had attacked him viciously and rolled to rest in front of Kathy “I've really got to pay better attention to where I'm going” He stated, standing straight and moving around the palm tree waving a dismissive hand at the coconut as he checked his head for long term damage he fell back in step with Kathy thinking it was probably marginally safer at her side plus he had no idea what part of the resort they were moving towards, he kind of gathered Kathy would guide him to where she wanted to go, he wanted to see everything anyway. Little Feather & Lion Lion looked up at Seven tilting his head to the side, a grin that wrinkled his muzzle and pulled the sides of his jowls up appeared on his face as the scent reached his own nostrils. I’m not sure about cooked or barbecued meat but food in general sounds good...fear a hungry lion Lion grumbled to Seven reaching forward with his paws releasing a large yawn that showed off a mouthful of sharp teeth, as he stretched down to the ground poking his butt in the air as he did. He shook his coat out as he pulled up and out of the stretch, ears flickering on the side of his head. Little one can we go now? Lion grumbled at Little Feather who was chatting to Dani. “You fell in? I’m sorry I didn’t see otherwise I would have helped you out...I was suffering from seasickness as well I think” Little Feather apologized to the dark haired boy. She looked at his sopping wet clothes a thought crossing her mind. “Don’t you have waterproof ones on underneath? Mercy made me put some on before we landed” Little Feather asked. “If not it’s pretty warm so I would imagine you’d dry out quickly” She assured him turning to Lion as she felt his jaw clamp down on her hand, to the others it probably looked like Lion was so hungry he had decided Little Feather wouldn’t need this hand. What they didn’t know was he was gripping her gently between his teeth with expert ease, grumbling insistently on her he didn’t tug her just held her hand until she bopped him on the nose. “Ok! We’re going...eww have your lion slobber back” Little Feather exclaimed wiping her slobbery hand on Lion’s pelt as he playfully bounded past her and up the hill. Yes! Come Seven to the food we go! The lion released a low yowl of excitement. Little Feather followed him pressing her hands together uncertainly she was still feeling a bit out of it after the boat trip. “So guys did you get up to much over the break?” Little Feather asked subconsciously hugging her t-shirt closer to herself, she missed her poncho even if it was to warm to wear it.
