Plot hijacks, Mary Sues, gamebreaking powers, things that simply don't fit the tone... not [i]once[/i] have I seen amnesia used anything close to 'good' without ignoring it entirely. The best outcome I've seen is a cancerous subplot that [i]won't end[/i].

And if there are ways of making it interesting, changing how they've been beaten up... isn't.
