Most people probably would have been surprised by the fact that the jade coins were talking. If Iris was though, it was impossible to tell. Aside from an ear twitch, her face wore a neutral expression. It was a talking...cat? A magic talking green cat made out of jade coins. Well...it was what she wanted after all. But she couldn't eat stone, could she? Better late than never to find out! She picked up the talking cat and gave it a hungry look. She wondered if jade tasted like chicken? Or maybe it tasted like jello. She really could go for some of Nekronia's jello right now. But for now, this jade cat would have to do. She proceeded to chomp down on one of the cats legs. 

She noticed two things right away. Jade most definitely did not taste like jello, and she was pretty sure she may have cracked a tooth. With a small wince of pain, she immediately threw the cat as hard as she could across the room. She was [i]not[/i] doing that again.
