The Tower. Sixteenth of the Major Arcana. It symbolized crisis, a sudden change and a sudden upheaval. It was often considered an ill moment. ...and it was also the most common answer the Arcana gave to James lately. And by lately, it meant ever since he first came to Death City. Any other witch would loudly question why he was here. Why he was in the halls of the DWMA, heading to class surrounded by hundreds of slayers of his own kind. Worse, unlike those witches, he didn't even have any power to take comfort in nor any sense of superiority he could bring up to downplay the danger. Instead, he had to admit, he felt like sheep in the middle of a pack of wolves. Even after Shinigami-sama and the authority of the school said they would protect his safety, even if he was a witch, he was still unsure. Accidents did happen, after all. Kiri was here, though, so that could be said to be some small degree of comfort. Oh well. Then again, the Tower wasn't completely bad, although most of the omens were ill. Hearing the bell ring, James looked up from the tarot card he was staring at and headed to his classroom. He had a class to teach.
