On a serious note, the Broken Pendulum's tactics are rather simple, if only because it's hard for Alistair to get Vail to follow much of a plan. As expected, she much prefers to charge blindly into the battlefield and dealing as much damage as she possibly can, but that completely contradicts Alistair's usual methods. He's adapted to act as support for her, weakening enemies and protecting Vail as best he can while she thrashes about wildly.
