Nat I'm not criticizing but whenever you do the lazy typing it always makes me read your text with some sort of accent. I haven't really pinned what accent it would sound like, however.

I always imagined nat having a high-pitched, singsong, mocking voice masked in innocence.

Nat is like the greatest thing ever to happen to Spam. I literally came to this realization now. Seriously, allow me to explain.

Nat is the Spam Tutorial.

Newbies come in and since most of the time your threads appear on the front page they click on one of your threads or even just look at the titles. Let's be honest Nat's threads aren't amazing so Newbies usually do one of two things: Complain or Leave Spam in horror assuming everything is like that and usually the complainers are shot down because they just seem petty

The ones who stay in Spam do one thing: they ignore Nat and sift through Spam looking for other threads. Thus they learn the first rule of Spam: Ignore the Trolls (the very first thread in Spam pretty much tells you this but some don't learn). Simply because if you can't ignore the trolls, you clearly aren't mentally capable of handling everything else in Spam ad you don't have a thick enough skin not to let anything get to you.

Nat acts as a sort of policing mechanism, they make sure those who join us are for the most part capable of handling everything there is in Spam. He teaches newbies how Spam works. He isn't always the ones making the shitty threads or posts and so unlike shouting at Nat who loves attention, they will flip and you could end up in a situation which gets you banned or you could make yourself look like an idiot in front of Spam and therefore get ostracized yourself.

The lesson Nat teaches us is that it isn't an option to shout at every troll which appears, otherwise you might go too far and get banned. You have to learn to ignore the Trolls.

So keep on posting Nat, you may do it for attention and others may not see it but you do a service for Spam.

I won't deny any of this though I want to point out some flaws in this system that was only just discovered by our current array of newbs.

They fucking WORSHIP nat or they did at one point or another. Now when that happens we get people like Joe (Sorry dude, You're currently not terrible imo... but you were and even you came to realize this) who come in, sees nat and then tries to mimic Nat's personality and either try to "replace Nat" making us accept them like we accepted Nat, or they idolize him, making them act like a Nat clone and thus we get even more SHITTIER members until they realize that we all hate that shit (including Nat) and either leave in shame or try to change their ways and actually STOP acting like someone else.

I admit nat isn't the worst thing to come into spam but he sure as hell isn't the best either. While yes the system you state is half true, it still doesn't completely prevent completely shit members from joining. Not to mention that when we don't get an influx of newbs, when nat does post a shit-ton of threads and floods spam than we get older members bitching about nat and we ALL know that shit is annoying. It's a lose/lose unless the system does work...

So yeah... There are a lot more variables than what you're adding for that system K-9... and I only added a select few out of the bunch that may give you a completely different result than what you wanted.

Sorry if this shatters your dreams. :(
