Totally going to make a dude, I swears it, but one question: Are men and women socially equal in this world, or is it a mainly male dominated society?

Also, I know you said you don't want any criminals as Characters yet, but how is the crime around Rehon and adjacent areas? My dude's backstory does involve some bandits, but I won't mind changing it if they're not possible (He's not a bandit, but they do play a vital role in his backstory and possible future plots).
