And so, at long last, the Gummi Ship touched ground on a new world. Jared killed the ship's engine, allowing it and the shields to begin recharging, "Well," he said, getting out of the captain's seat and instinctively stretched his arms out as if he'd woken up from a nap, "It's gonna be a while before the energy cells are fully recharged, so we might as well kill some time and explore. But I think we should have something of a rule to follow. Either we stay on the ship or we stay together, going off on our own on some world we've never heard of is just asking for trouble, and the last thing we need is someone getting lost." as he said that, he grabbed up the spear that the old man had given him and clicked it into a leather holster strapped to his back. True, he had the Keyblade and could technically just use it, but the old man made a good point when he said that a backup weapon was never a bad idea. With that done, he left the bridge and first past by the holodeck door, knocking on it lightly, "Hey! You still in there?" he called out to the person he hoped was still inside, "We've landed so if you wanna take the chance to look around we're all going now!" Whether he got a response or not, Thatch turned and headed for the main hatch entrance to the ship, "Here goes nothing." he said as he hit the switch to open the ship's main door. It slid open with a hiss, and then the first thing the intrepid adventurers felt was a bone chilling wind coming from outside. A look outside didn't tell them much about where they had landed, because there was ice as far as the eye could see, "Oh g-great. Figures the first place we come to is covered in ice. Well, how cold could it possibly be?" he asked the others before volunteering himself to step outside first. It was cold of course, but the main source of the cold seemed to be more from the wind than the ice itself, curiously. He took a cursory glance around and then blinked, "What the? No way!" he said, taking another few steps toward what he saw and pointing it out to the others, "Is that... is that what I think it is?" the object he pointed to in the distance was none other than a ship of all things. Yes, a ship, with sails and everything covered in snow and stuck in what Jared now feared was a frozen harbor, "Jeez, what kind of place is this?" Further in the distance, he spotted something else. A town! It was also covered in snow and ice, and even had a dock with more ships frozen in place, "Look, a town! Could mean people. Might as well see if anyone's home." he told the others, then began walking toward the frozen town. And so the journey began, its first steps taking place on a seemingly... Frozen world.
