Name: Right now, Jesse James, though his name changes every now and then to mix things up a bit Age: Became an immortal at 19 Has been an immortal since 302 C.E. Race: Immortal Appearance: He was tall for his era, standing at 6'2, though nowadays he is not that unusually tall. He has long blonde hair which is typically gelled back, leaving a few strands in his face. He's kinda picky about his hair. His get up lately has consisted mostly of button ups, jackets, jeans, and boots. Though like every outfit he wears, it's subject to drastic change at any given moment. His eyes have a fierce intensity that has given him a bit of a bad rep in areas he's new to and in certain times in history, it was a reputation that was rather fitting. Along his right arm, from forearm to shoulder are burns he received shortly before earning his immortality. Over the centuries, he's become a little weathered. Personality: Jesse is kind and caring, but can be rather blunt. He has a deep understanding of humanity's fear of death and is incredibly calm in intense situations though sometimes he forgets that he's the only immortal that hasn't been lost in time, and does things that are dangerous to the more... death inclined humans. He is used to losing and winning and has become a temperate person in most situations, though like any human he is still inclined to fall prey to intense emotions. Biography: Most memories of his time as a non-immortal have long since been lost, though his final moments as a regular man are still as vivid in him mind as the day that happened. Back when Jesse was known as Octavius and nine other Romans hunted a phoenix that had alluded them for weeks. It was an act of revenge, the bird having burnt their hometown to cinders. Of course, among them were selfish ambitions as well, for it was said that those that drank from the blood of a phoenix would be cursed with immortality. One day they caught the beast off guard as it slept and Octavius's brother, Regulus placed an arrow through the bird's left eye. In a final act of fury, the bird let lose a volley of flames from its beak, searing Regulus and horribly burning Octavius's right arm. The others rushed to slit the beast's throat and drink from its blood, something that Octavius joined in, not ready to die from his burns just yet. The nine immortal Romans worked together as a band of mercenaries for nearly a century, being known as the fiercest fighters of the Roman army before they defected from the military and went their separate ways. Two were lost when their ship sunk in the Atlantic several decades later, where they would spend an eternity at the bottom of the ocean, trapped against the ocean floor from the water pressure. One immortal that Octavius was rather familiar with was imprisoned for the murder of a young greek girl. Octavius's best guess is that the prison eventually collapsed and they build a new building on top of it, not bothering to dig up the bodies. Jesse and the remaining five immortals would meet once a decade in the heart of Rome though over the years their numbers dwindled. During the last four meetings, the only one to attend was Jesse. As far as he knows, he is the last immortal. Likes: Acting, leaning, working, meeting new people Dislikes: Solitude, Bruce Springsteen, jugglers
