Personality: Wise and witty, Agata is determined to live a free life, away from the powers and the lying. She is bold and will stand up for herself, desperately unwilling to be a slave to what she is. Most of the time, she refuses to expose who she is, even to other people who are "gifted", for fear she will be exploited. She is friendly and chatty, and enthusiastic about her new life.
Biography: Her mother was Serbian, and her father was a soldier, staying on after the collapse of communism. Both stumbled upon each other because of their "gifts ", and Agata was due only months later. The wedding was arranged, and the family were set to head for a better life together, in America.
However, her father was tricked in to revealing his nature and his true name, something only his fiancée was supposed to know. The trick meant that her mother was unmarried, heavily pregnant, and trapped by poverty. Fearing the same fate for her child, she went on the run.
Agata grew up with her mother, travelling through Europe and Asia, having as little contact with humans as possible. However, the letter still found it's way to her. As Agata moved to America for the Academy, her mother followed to track down her lost fiance's family.
