After their introductions were cut short by a HUGE beast, Caelyn's face sprouted a grin in fierce determination. "Yeesh! That's one big bug!" Caelyn said as she charged. Mara was nearly pummeled by the giant claw. But Tyron stepped in with his giant sword and shook it back. The beast really didn't like that one bit. One thing that Caelyn noticed though was the beast was pretty sluggish with its claws. She had a feeling that the creature's speed was in the form of that nasty tail and its acid. She quickly weighed over her options, her kukris wouldn't do much to hack through that tail as thick as it was, so she was useless there. "Hmm.. where do I come in on this fight." She had gotten very good with her daggers, but this was going to be a whole new level. Caelyn decided that her best options were to use her agility and help keep the beast distracted. "MARA! Go for the tail, I am goin' to work on keepin' his focus on me." As she was running Caelyn pulled a rope from her pack and tied it off to one of her daggers. It was a trick that Kyden had taught her. "Its not a pretty as a bow and arrow, but sometimes you have to make do." he had said. "Tyron, we need to kite this, share its malice so neither of us get overburdened. If I open up a shot for you take it. I will watch your back, we will have ta work together!" As she finished tying her bow-line knot around her dagger she let it fly right toward the only soft flesh she could think of, the eyes.
