It was over. Moira stood with her hands folded under her chest, not saying much at all. Her forehead was still steaming a little. Even she couldn't stop the small smile creeping up at the edges of her mouth, though. She would be glad to get out of this place. She never wanted to see anything like the things she had seen here again. As soon as she got out of here, she was contacting Sonny. She... hadn't realised how worried she was about him until now. After all, he was a grown man, older than Syed even and by now a father himself. But as much as her place was now with the Pride, and his with his small family, she was still his mother. She always will be. Syed landed silently beside them all, back to normal in appearance. He wore a massive dorky grin on his face - a mixture of relief and amazement. "That... was the best thing ever," he gushed, stars in his eyes. He wouldn't be able to get that mech out of his head for weeks now. "Well, the last bit. Oh man I can still feel the adrenaline..." “Now, now it’s time for us all to wake up.” "Definately." While a part of Syed worried about where exactly they would be waking up, mainly... mainly he was just thankful. Thankful to have friends like these - friends who guided him through his darkest moments. They all guided each other, really. And friends like that? They are the rarest, most precious thing you can find. "Yeah, I'm gagging for a drink," Moira added, just before everything faded from her view.
