Raphael waited in the shadows, watching the new students arrive from the treeline across the field. He had decided to simply travel to this school on foot, or rather, on foot and displacing. It was not quite as fast a car, but outpaced the bulky bus quite handily. Anyone looking in his direction would see nothing, except perhaps a flicker of green light. If they ventured closer and peered at him, they would see a strange dark outline and two glowing orbs like those of a cat. He watched the others make their way off of the bus, his mind sorting through them at lightning speed, sorting them into those who he found interesting and those who he did not. Of course, he knew that there was more to a person than their appearance, but sometimes appearance was enough to draw his interest. For example, that large scaled and winged man was already piquing his interest, as was the woman who sported a tail and whose back was as hollow as an egg shell. He had immediately known the nature of the vampire girl, it was far too obvious. Her demeanor alone was enough to give her away, despite her obvious beauty and fashion flair. His lip curled in distaste as he watched her flounce across the grounds. He'd known a few vampires in his time and he held no love for them. In his experience they were soulless and cruel, as well as powerful and arrogant beyond measure. He would steer clear of that one, to avoid any temptation on his part that might lead to an altercation.
