Like I said earlier, I'm in as long as there isn't too much fantasy.

Maybe consider expanding a bit on the town or families involved? Maybe some political or cultural change is happening in the town that will make for a story? Obviously you don't want to make it too set in stone, but soap opera is a bit vague and some members might be skimming right past this thread because it is very open and not really decided at all.
