Llium Academy is the perfect place for a girl to grow and mature over their three year high school career. Perfectly situated just a train ride away from the nearest city, Lilium Academy has the distinction of being a place where you can experience the beautiful countryside while also living in a comfortable, urban environment. Before you decide to enroll, first a tour of this wonderful institution. This is the Main Building where students will go to attend classes or engage in certain club activities. Outside the entrance are student planted flower beds. During lunch hours, several students enjoy socializing out in the open air. Benches and fountains line the quad, perfect for a multitude of activities. Students are to take note that the faculty building is easily accessible from the Main Building and any questions for the staff should be taken there. The ground floor is where students will find their shoe lockers and the school stores. Anything a student needs, be it supplies or a quick snack can be found at the store. The ground floor is also where students will find a cafeteria for the purchasing of meals. While students can eat inside the cafeteria, enjoying a meal with friends in the classroom or out on the quad is highly encouraged. Classrooms can be found on floors two through four with each floor housing a year, first years call the second floor their home, and so on. The School Grounds are mostly used for extra-curricular activities. Located behind the Main Building and stretching to the woods just outside of school property, the grounds are gateway to the rest of the school. From the grounds students can head to the dorms, the the sports fields, and find club buildings for clubs that can't operate within the confines of the main hall. The large building serves as both an auditorium (for school plays or performances from the music clubs and for a large variety of events during cultural festival period) and an indoor gymnasium. The gymnasium contains an indoor pool for aquatic sports and is off limits unless for sports purposes. Students are allowed free use of the gym unless a club has it reserved or there is a sporting event going on. The auditorium is free for all until the drama club begins rehearsals for their seasonal plays. Other club buildings found on the grounds include the music room (to the left of the auditorium), the library and its literature club (to the right of the auditorium) and sports clubs (located near the sports fields,) The Dorms are where the students of Lilium Academy will live. Located a short walk away from the grounds, the dorms provide a perfect view of the forest beyond school grounds as well as the pond. (Please note that students are not allowed to swim in the pond.) Dorm rooms are shared by two students. Students are allowed to swap rooms for one week after a quarter has started but all room changes must be approved by the dormitory staff. Rooms can be decorated with posters and photos but nothing is to be rearranged. The dorms have been designed with comfortable living space in mind. Beds are spaced apart so as to allow free movement, and each student has shelf space for studies or for housing learning materials. Food and drink is not permitted in the dorms. Students are allowed one (1) television per room but it must be turned off at lights out and the volume must be so that the room next door does not hear. Cell phones are allowed. The Sports Field contains a track and a field for bat and ball games. There is a storage shed nearby for net games such as tennis, football (soccer), and others. Use of the sports field is free for students unless there is a sporting event or a club has the field reserved. The field closes at lights out. Before you enroll, here are the rules to be followed as a Lilium Academy student. Each rule was drafted by the student run disciplinary committee and approved by the student council and staff. 1: Classes are to be attended regularly. Failure to attend a number of classes will result in disciplinary action and potential expulsion. 2. There will be no smoking or drinking on school property. Any student caught in violation of this rule will be immediately expelled. 3. Lights out is at 11 P.M. daily, extended to 1 A.M. on weekends. Students are to be in their dorms when lights out occurs or risk disciplinary action. 4. Students are warned to stay out of the forest behind the school. Enjoy your time at Lilium Academy.

We the staff at Lilium Academy thank you for your interest in this fine learning establishment and we look forward to seeing you when school begins. Please direct any questions to the staff, information is on the back of this booklet. -Junko Serizawa, Head of Lilium Academy --- Okay, then! Sorry if the above portion seemed daunting, but I figured it best that people knew as much as possible about the academy. First off, thank you for your interest in this roleplay. This is a roleplay inspiried by the yuri genre of anime and manga and as such yuri will be the theme. I assume everyone who is here knows what yuri is. Now, just because this is a yuri themed RP doesn't mean our characters are going to instantly hook up and be together, because what would be the point. While relationships are vital, please don't make them instant. This RP is as much about building relationships with one another as it is about everything else. While this is more based on the slower paced yuri such as Aoi Hana, there can certainly be comedic elements as well. Not everything needs to be serious! Have a laugh, get caught in awkward situations, anything goes (within reason!), that's what makes things fun! Also don't worry about class schedule. Classes will mostly just be a backdrop or glossed over. Who cares about lectures and homework where there's romance to be had. Here are the basic rules of this role play. RULES -Due to the interest expressed in the interest check, I am currently limiting people to one character unless someone has a good reason for needing two. This rule may change depending on final numbers. -Romance is expected and encouraged, but let's keep it PG-13 (that includes language). Anything above that, either fade out of it or take it privately. Use good sense. -Your character can belong to any club you can think of, within reason. If you're not sure about a club, ask me. -I totally understand that life happens. I'm not demanding people post daily, but if you are going to be away for a week, please inform me. Likewise, if you are going to drop, please tell me. I'm not going to be upset at all. -While this is casual, I'm not asking for super long posts. I'm cool with a paragraph. I'm not cool with excessive one liners. That's no fun. -For the sake of not getting too far ahead, please wait until at least four other people have posted before you post again once the IC is up. I want everyone to be able to take part and have fun, and if people get too far ahead it'll just be problematic. While this may cause a problem in smaller, one on one conversations please try to bear with it. If stalling of one on one conversations becomes an issue, the rule will be altered. -Any questions, send them my way. I will answer them to the best of my ability. -Likewise, if you have any ideas, send them to me. I love hearing them and they can be incorporated! -This is a slice of life RP. There won't be any world ending crisis, we're not going to turn into superheroes or anything. It will be the day-to-day lives of our characters, but there will be events to break up the monotony. I mean, what's a good series without a cultural festival or a trip to the beach or the city? -Have fun! --- CHARACTER SKELETON Photo of Student: (You can use description or picture. Anime pictures, please, since that is the inspiration.) Name: (Obvious, but you can either do family name first or last, your call.) You can put as much or as little as you want, but I do want a base personality at the very least. If you're the type who prefers to reveal backstory over the course of the RP, make that known. I still want a personality though!) Extra-Curricular Activities: (What club is your character part of? Characters can be in 2 clubs.) Favorite Subject: (Easy enough.) Her father owns a small noodle shop while her mother worked there taking orders and serving. Reiko worked there in middle school, sweeping the shop and handing bowls to the customers. Though not much a fan of having to work, Reiko came to enjoy the interesting stories told by the various customers, though she figured most of them were lies. Throughout middle school, Reiko had a central group of friends, all of whom were girls, and all of whom shared a similar interest in getting sweets after school. Reiko’s features were always boyish and that carried in how she talked with her friends. She frequently used rougher, boyish language. It was seen as cute at first by her friends, but as she continued in middle school it became less cute and turned into a point of insult towards her. Her second year of middle school was met with difficulty as her former friends suddenly began spreading rumors and picking on her. They singled her out for her boy-ish face and manner of speaking, but the biggest rumor of all, that Reiko had a crush on another girl, was actually not a rumor at all. Though the rumor that Reiko had a crush on another female student was used against her, calling her all manner of rude names, she never did have the courage to reveal that to be true. Reiko didn’t understand why she found another female student cute, believing it to just be a phase, and after hearing so many insults from other girls and boys, she thought herself to be different and weird and it made her rather uncomfortable. Reiko wound up cutting her hair after finishing middle school. She applied for Lilium Academy believing the students there to be of a nicer sort. As a student at Lilium, Reiko is rather quiet. She doesn’t trust the other girls, not sure if they will wind up like her supposed friends from middle school, and as such her first year she didn’t exactly make any friends, not even in her club or with her roommate. Now going into her second year, Reiko has decided to try and break out of her quiet rut, though she has reservations about befriending or trusting the other girls. Her hair is still cut short and were it not for the fact that it was an all-girls school, Reiko could almost fool people into thinking she was a male. Her boyish features are what pulled her into the drama club, where in her first year she was an understudy for a third year in their performance of Romeo and Juliet – she was an understudy for the Romeo part. Now that the upperclassman has graduated, Reiko hopes that the drama club will help her in being more vocal, even if it means having to play the lead male role in plays. Since her time at Lilium, Reiko has adopted a more calm, mature manner of dealing with people. She chooses her words deliberately, not worried whether her words cause offense. She's not trying to make friends, nor is she trying to actively push others away, she just prefers to not bother with the hassle and eventual betrayal of dealing with friendships. It's pure coincidence that her manner of talk more often than not makes her appear as rude and condescending, or so Reiko justifies. However, for as much as she prefers her deliberate, often rude manner of speech, she has been known to slip into more...friendly and awkward exchanges that she herself puts herself in; these tend to happen when she observes something cute or when flustered and struggling to maintain her artificial composure.
