[B][U]Sara's first day at Sky High

Sara caught the girl's suggestion of playing a guessing game or show an tell about their powers. She knew that she could learn what each of them were generally able to do by observing their DNA but it would prove difficult an time consuming.
It would be very difficult to guess any of their abilities because only rarely did Supers exhibit any outward clues.
She smiled softly knowing that her own power was so rare that it would only be by a wild guess that anyone would chose it.
Then she thought about the latter game of show an tell. That too would prove difficult because the first part would involve self injury to display her rapid healing rate an the second require another to injure themselves..
So rather than get involved Sara stepped back a little an tried to be invisible. 
Invisible now that would have been a great ability, she could have trained as a master infiltrator, a ninja or super spy. 
"Oh well you play the cards you're dealt" she thought as she rocked back an fourth on her heels.
She had no illusions about her future because her ability chose her path as much as her mother's power had chosen her's.

Sara drifted back to the Isle of Wright six months ago and the fire. Till that day Sara's powers or the fact she had any at all had still been a question.
She'd been out window shopping in Cowes when she'd heard the fire trucks and like many others had gone over in curiosity to see what was up. When she arrived the firemen had pulled two people from the fire and were laying them on gurney from a nearby ambulance. Both were in their 90s an old couple whom the burning home belonged to and both were suffering severe smoke inhalation. Sara felt herself drawn towards the two almost magnetically.
The EMTs would have stopped her from getting too close if not for an explosion that ripped through the home sending stone from it's structure spraying over a large area. The EMTs were down but the old man an woman had suffered even greater injury. Sara was on them in a flash not knowing why she felt she must touch them.
The three were quickly consumed by a bright green glow for five minutes. The EMTs came to at this time and were distressed by what they saw. But it was just at this time that her Mom, Uncle Storm Rider and his wife Aunt Neptuna arrived to lend aid.
Sara was unaware of anything that happened after the explosion as she experienced a traumatic power surge which she was still unable to equal. 
She passed out and her mom took her away to a place where she could recover. When she came to the first thing she saw was her mom smiling down at her and she was in bed at her aunt an uncle's home on the island.
