"I see.. true, a rattlesnake could probably appear on my lap. But what events led that to happen? Does your power, like, reach back to the past, and then affect the probability of someone bringing in a toothless, non-venomous rattlesnake? It's making my head hurt, haha..." he said, babbling on about his understanding of her power. And then he remembered what she said she could do. "Yeah... getting the girl would be good, for once." He said, looking out the window. 

 He looked at her and said, "Also, please don't kill me.", then laughing a bit.
