Ellis was having fun talking to Marie. When she started laughing, it just drowned out everything else, and he just snapped back to reality when she said that the conversation was weird. 
"Yes. Yes it is. I sure could use something to drink right now. Wouldn't you like some magical milkshakes or something?" He said, trying to make it less awkward. He failed. He was now comfortable around her though, and he wasn't shy at all. He summoned Mister to his lap, and let him play there, even if he wasn't tangible yet. "So..." Ellis said, wanting to know more about her, but not able to think of anything to say.
