Ray heard Jack ask him for help opening the door, but he was reluctant to leave Cassy. He was debating weather or not to pull out the shrapnel embedded in Cassy's gut when Asher spoke up. "Leave that in till we get her to safety. If we pull it out it'll bleed too much." Asher said. Ray nodded, thankful that someone could actually make a decision like that. He hadn't done well in his CPR class. He only managed to pass the class because he passed the first aid section, but he couldn't remember how to deal with anything like this. "Ray, get her legs." Ray mumbled an agreement and did so. They carried her towards the doors Jack was trying to open. Ray muttered "Oh, god!" several times as blood leaked from the injury. Ray hadn't seen this much blood in his life. They got her to the door, but she had passed out. When they set her down, Ray tilted her head back to make sure her airway was open. Just about the only thing I did remember from CPR. Ray then started slamming his shoulder against the door. It certainly was blocked, but every time he slammed into it, he felt the doors give a little. He started taking running starts with Jack and running into the door simultaneously.
