Arthur stood still on the path that would lead him towards the Academy, green eyes wide as he took in the building's imposing structure. How one was able to keep such a place hidden in the forest, not even he could guess. After momentarily taking in the scenery, Arthur’s attention returned to the letter in his palm, eyes skimming over its words once more. The young Phoenix had been sent the invitation to attend Redthorn Academy many years ago, though he never felt compelled to accept at the time. He was a solitary creature, managing to fend for himself for almost a century now. Arthur had been certain that he wouldn’t need the Academy’s promise of safety or teachings- well, until now it seemed. He had felt it only recently, a shift in the air. What exactly said shift was Arthur had yet to figure out; however, it was enough for him to finally enroll at Redthorn Academy. And it was obvious he wasn’t the only one. Mythics from all around the world were milling about on the school’s grounds- more than he had ever seen in his lifetime. Vampires, Fae, Shapeshifters- it was certainly an intimidating sight, but a surprisingly welcome one nonetheless. Lips curling into a smile, Arthur adjusted his messenger bag and continued on his walk.
