Not necessary. As long as we have the equipment or the means to make it, my Doctor (a biologist) can run it, especially if it's automated. We only have a few dozen people, so there won't be much in the way of "doctoring" to do. She'll mostly end up testing every lifeform on the planet and trying to classify them. An automated farm that only requires a few hours a week to run isn't a big deal. Besides, you are already carrying computer manufacturing stuff, which I assume includes smaller forms of chemical, electronic, etc. manufacturing, as well as 3-d printers. All we would really need is larger versions for making thing like motors, pistons, plastic cases, etc.
