She started to walk beside him, rummaging through her bag, pulling out a notebook and pen. Quickly scribbling down something then tapping the mans shoulder. 'Im kind of late for work' she took her notepad back once he had read it then quickly wrote something else 'sorry, I can't actually talk, I'm mute" she opened her mouth to show a small stub where her tongue used to be.
