Remus couldn't exactly remember when Hermione had said she would stay there, but was glad for it. It made the big and empty house feel a whole lot less empty. And she worried about him, and he echoed the feelings. She had lost about as much as he had, her boyfriend Ronald Weasley. The golden trio, the trouble makers. His head turned to the direction of where her voice came from, a small smile on his warn and scarred face. The scars from a hippogriff from when he had gotten too out of control of his other side. She had been remarkably brave to call his attention like that when he was nothing but instinct. "Thank you Hermione." He said thankfully having been reminded during the first couple of weeks to call her thus, for she didn't stand on much protocol. Still did call him 'professor' from time to time though, but he found he liked it. Made him think of simpler times when he found the Marauders map again after so many years of not having it. He noticed that she was reaching for things that were no longer there. It made him realize they were running out of things. Perhaps he'll go, during the weekend and write the things they needed. ----- Rose hesitantly moves a little closer to him carefully looking into his eyes, studying him a bit closer. Sure it may be The Doctor but he might not be her Doctor. So she had to be certain. There was a huge bout of loneliness and guilt carried into the eyes of her Doctor, for he had been the survivor of the Time War. He had said very little about it when she traveled with him, but she hadn't pressed for many answers neither, knowing it was a horrible subject to talk about so had dropped it the second time they talked about it not wanting to cause him distress. There was none of that in this Doctor's eyes. They were lighter, almost without the weight of her Doctor's pain and misery and smiles sadly wiping at her eyes. "No, no we haven't. But I do know A Doctor." She answered, and thought about telling him the whole: 'I came from a different universe, but actually I was born in yet another universe, traveled with a different you for two years, experienced your regenerating, was left behind twice in that different universe, and somehow got here in a bright gold light' explanation. He was a Time Lord after all. "'M Rose. Rose Tyler." She introduced herself. "It's nice to meet you." She said honestly, for a Doctor without the weight of being the last of his kind had to be a whole different experience. She noticed that the TARDIS was smoking wondering what happened to the Old Girl who had been like a second home to her. "Is it supposed to do tha'?" Rose asks tentatively not sure what she was supposed to and not supposed to say. She snorts softly, now she knew what it meant to have certain knowledge but not knowing how to utilize or give.
