Not necessarily. I could say something along the lines of them having just returned from the middle east, their numbers are down, they're tired and really just need to settle for a bit but their leader keeps hiring them out for other jobs. Due to this the "brothers" may have conflicting interests and ideologies. Besides, I never explicitly said they would be mercenaries, they could just as easily be another gang. I was really just spitballing. If I were to do it, I would be focusing more on developing the characters rather than the whole conflict with the wildings, This is AU after all.
