Roger the Racist Badger and the Crack Fox. England isn't known for its awesome animals.
(posted in the IntChk) Honestly, Chapatrap, you could be on to something there. Mutated badgers (imagine a badger 10+ feet long and weighing hundreds of pounds) could easily be the Royal Wasteland's equivalent to Yao Guai! There're also blood-sucking flies, some interesting wasp species, fucking spiders that walk on water... And, um, then I guess there's newts. Maybe carnivorous newts could infest the Thames? I don't know. Foxes could be like coyotes from the Mojave, still relatively unchanged in the aftermath of the War, and there are a few other species we could have, like some kind of Post-War sheep that people use for wool, and massive wild boars that compete for food with the badgers... And what about deer? Lots of those in England. Wasteland deer, still living in the forests and such? EDIT: Oh, and other acquatic creatures could be around for fishing, I guess.
